Great video. But is this historically accurate where the entire bevor section completely folds back above the helmet? What percentage of designs historically used that feature if any?

Yes this design is historical, and the helmet is a mounted combat helmet
Dose this count being a closehelm sallet hybrid?
I know this is fairly old but yes I believe, were it a historical helmet, we would consider it a close helm (by modern categorization) but one designed to look like a sallet. There are examples of similar "combos" historically as well I believe although I am not personally familiar with any of this specific type.
The etching is a little much but what does the brass etching mean?
