I liked the card with the napkin with bird on it, love those colors. I don't think I've seen a napkin like that before. Then you added the button nest. So cute how you added it on to the page. and: Yes yes, please I would love to see videos of how you make avocado dyed, cabbage dyed, onion dyed, and what ever else dyed paper!! lolol...That sounds like so much fun and interesting! Thank you Pam! I I love your videos, I've watched some over your videos over and over because they're so much fun and aesthetically relaxing. also I like to listen to your podcast while doing house work or crafting.. :)

Button down, button up, fabric down, button down, fabric and button up, fabric down, fabric and button down, button, fabric, and fabric up, larger fabric down, fabric, fabric, and button down. That's IT!! Beautiful!! Exhausting, but beautiful! Lovin' you from the southern California desert, MK ♥️☀️🌵. (No button emoji 🙁😟 😭

    Hiya Pam,
I also love to sew bits & pieces as it certainly saves on gluggy glue everywhere.
I’m new & haven’t constructed my journal yet. I find this a great advantage as I can sew directly onto the pages.

I loved making those page trims, but had to use cheese cloth and some old sheet strips which worked fine. Had 8 bottles of stickles I’d never used, oh, so fun! I’m using my different colored stamp pads too. I have so many different kinds I’ve picked up at yard sales. Oh well, I’ll give to school if nothing else. Thanks for showing great ways to use what I have.

Pam, love this series. The thin paper you use on this page is called ONION SKIN paper. We used it in the 50’s - 70’s to go between the carbon paper to make copies in our typewriters. Have a good day! Xoxo Di from Arkansas

I remember the glorious sound and feel of onion paper. Mother hoarded it along with her box of carbon paper, locked away in her office desk just at the end of the hall. So near and yet so far away! I think she gave me a half sheet once in awhile and i placed it delicately between the pages of my journal to prohibit any wet ink from defiling an ajoining page...my how far the onion skin paper has come! 🏰 "All hail onion skin paper, long may it's clackley - crunch be heard in JJ land!" 😂

Love it. I know what you mean when you say it needs a little something. I did that with one tag. I made it till I No longer liked it. Then had to fix it right at I liked it again. It's a pink print that I put bias binding on the edges. It was just ugly. Then I added buttons now it's pretty. I can still add a bit of bling on each button for a greater effect

I don’t want to dull my needles with the paper. Nor do I want to be changing needles back and forth. We already lose stuff all the time. Try looking a.needle in our “haystack”! Ha!

      A Little About This Journal:
This journal is meant to be explored, written in, doodled in, a place to log events or hide the little mementos of a life.
It can be a diary, a planner, an art journal, an inspiration place. The possibilities are endless and you choose its destiny.
Thoughts and ideas can be captured and expressed. Favorite quotes can be logged and sacred papers stored. It has sundry textures to entertain your senses, and treasures secretly nestled inside.
It is a journey of discovery of this journal and maybe even into one’s self. It is a keepsake, an heirloom treasure, something to be gifted, passed down, shared, or kept private.
It has many tuck spots and pockets and little hideaways to house your notions.
Journaling cards, vintage stationery and mini-notepads abound to give even more writing and journaling spaces. This journal is truly one of a kind on this earth. No two are the same.
Each one is made individually, by myself, to truly focus on the nature and spirit of that particular journal.
I hope you thoroughly enjoy this journal that has made its long and happy journey to you. May it bring you peace and joy. 😊

What is the size of the paper you use? I only have 8 1/2 x 11. Folded in half my entire journal looks small. Any tips?

Does this journal have a theme? Also, would you please do a how-to/info on avocado dying? I keep hearing the term bandied about, but no one seems to be talking about just what it is or how to do it--thanks for all your vids--LOVE 'em. So soothing--oddly enough.

@@ThePaperOutpost I have to say the same to you--those bird tracks across that page--made me laugh out loud--for real. I'm a college English professor and always go on bird walks in class--(for the record, they're almost always on topic of the lessons--lol) I'm going to have to go find me some bird tracks--I'll use them in every project I make. They can be my "signature" hahhahahhahhaaa--So fun. Thanks again for all you do--you're incredibly inspirational (more on that soon-- ;0)

Pam!! It's been so long 😭....Where have you been?! LoL 🐱, I know, I just looked at one of your videos, lol, and even so... I missed you. I hope you and your family are doing well. I'm loving all the videos before me 👀 so many to choose from. You finding anything new for us, your loyal Fans? I would love for you to do something with envelopes.... Do you have something already along those lines 🤔? I'm OCD'ing🤯 on envelopes at this time, lol🤪. Let me know what you got...r who you recommend. By the way, you are making my side ache with the things that are falling out of your mouth! LoL 🐱 LoL...(Your mastering the paper tearing is a Riot; your Grimlin is a newie; and you forgetting that white piece of paper with the ink stamper almost did me in, along with when you said "what are you doing there?!" to that piece of cloth!🚑🚑🚑)

Thanks Pam😁. Followed the link you gave me. Seems that I've almost went through all the ones that interested 😂 me, on your play list off your channel. Those dealing with Junk Journals and shoring up the spines and building them. I love the decorating and filling up the pages as well. So I'm taking from them what I really like seeing 🤣 and can use and what I don't think I need and move from one medium to the next that will encourage me to keep at it. So! that being shared, I look forward to seeing your next newbie. Until then, take care of yourself and your family. And see you soon 😊....
