'Gotta keep your knickers clean!' made me spurt coffee down my t-shirt! 🤣 'make some small flapperoos' 'need to find some flappage' 'aww, I got ooze & we don't want lumpy-bumpies' Who knew, that a video date with Pam, would expand my journaling vocabulary?! Love the flappy peek-a-boos! Thanks, Pam - love from Denmark 🌸💕
In the journal I’m making for my grandkids, I’m doing the same thing with the little flips and journal tags and cards. I’m putting little fun facts on their parents, like things they did when they were their age, and some bits about me and Grampaw. Some of our favorite quotes and such. I really wanted it to spark their imagination so they could add to the journal for years to come. I finally have all 6 of the signatures in and I’m working of decorating it now. If I’m lucky, I’ll have it finished by Christmas. Lol. It’s going to be a huge journal with the full story of the book in tact.
The Paper Outpost awe, I hope they like it as much as I think they will. I’m making the baby a separate one out of a book that was my daughters favorite when she was little and my son’s daughter will get hers for her 5th birthday in Dec. I have 2 more in Alabama. They are getting one for Christmas. I’m having so much fun making them.
What a sweet and very thoughtful Grandmother you are. Offering them a special "storybook" where they know the characters is so unique. As they get grow older they will realize what a special gift you made for them. It will certainly give you hours of smiles, questions and lots of love.
Another fabulous episode, I have had a lovely afternoon watching this series, I love your energy towards your journals and I am glad I am not the only one who talks and praises the paper when it works. lol xxx
I love your birds they are so relaxing. Reminds me of sitting around the RV in the woods. Thank you for another great video!! Love them all and learning so much from you.
Good morning Pam, what a great way to start my day, watching you create. Love hearing the birds. Love listening to you always makes me smile. Enjoy your day. Your friend Cindy from a small town in Northern Ontario Canada 🇨🇦 ❤️❤️❤️
Hello Pam and Birdies. Yes do foster one or two and take the one(s) you could see yourself keeping...lol😂 Awesome fun idea today and guess who has just opened boxes with a BUNCH of OLD paper and all of it is covered with words. I am not as good at putting papers back together as you so I better make a scrap paper test run before I "PAM" all the good words...😂😂 have a great evening!📜🐦
This was SO fun! I love putting little secret things and hidden pockets in the journals I make. I think it makes the journal so much more fun! Thank you, Pam!
Hi Jobeth! I love to explore things like old attics and basements and old houses and even books. I grew up reading Nancy Drew mysteries....hidden thangs are my thang :) Sounds like they are for you too! :) Crafty soul sister!
@@ThePaperOutpost OH, Yes!! houses are awesome. The house we lived in when I was a kid was very old and had an attic and a basement. It was a really cool old house with french window panes, a window seat with storage, real hardwood floors and this HUGE front door with a speakeasy door in it!! Yep, I grew up in a house that gave me a great respect for antiques and vintage things! The house isn't there anymore, sadly.
Hi Pam, I was fascinated by your love of Edith Holden illustrations. I come from the same same area as Edith. I lived just streets away from where she was born 😍😍
Here is another suggestion for keeping your glitter glue pin at hand. I used a rubberband around the container and tucked a square piece of felt under it and I put my pin there to keep it handy. Love all your videos Pam, thanks for sharing.
Hi Pam! Hi Holly and Love Birds! I love that your feather babies like to say hello and talk through your journal crafting like you do. I love listening to them. I love the little flips with the fabric hinge. I would of never thought of that. Great idea! I understand about needing a pet to cuddle. I've thought about fostering kittens, but I'd want to keep them all..lol

Ahh I see you have the new (everyone wants sugarbelle icing bottle) hard to get in England unfortunately, but they look great xx. The orange looks good, a change of colour is good x
Wonderful idea! I have Red Rose tea cards that are a perfect fit for my Boho journal. Added just the right amount of intrigue! Hugs and blessings, 🤗❤️🇨🇦

Hi Pam! I"m a relatively new subscriber, but I LOVE your Paper Outpost! When I feel "stuck", I always turn to your channel for inspiration. You have so many great ideas! Funny, being new to Junk Journaling, I find that I'm wanting to incorporate this lovely craft to my "Art" Journals!
Hi DEANNA ROBBINS! Welcome to the family! I am so excited for you on your new journey into junk journals! It's a very friendly community! Come on down the rabbit hole with the rest of us and have some fun! :)Thanks for watching! :) Pam :) !!
Loved it as usual. You have so many good ideas. I may go back and watch the using up book pages series. I need some ephemera. Funny how quickly it gets used. Have a blessed day. Hi Holly!
Cute Pam!! I was sitting here reading the words before you started and telling you "floating up!" Thats a good one, and obviously you heard me! 😊❤🌻 Have a fantastic sunny day, its a stormy, rainy day in Kansas!⛈🌧🌩☔

Gross is based on Latin and is used in medical descriptions as in “Grossly intact” i.e. largely intact. So you was correct with “large” :) you are wonderful and those little messages can be considered writing prompts.
That’s a great flipping page! Hehe making a journal for my daughter’s birthday and will definitely use this idea. What words to use,? What words to use? Good to know that we all struggle with glue, fragile paper and placement! I just love listening to birds in the morning! Found myself replying (I love to whistle!) I just might need to get out more (hahaha). Thank you for sharing! Love your ideas and videos!
You are just toooooo cute, my friend! I so enjoy watching your videos!! You have became a daily staple! ( isn’t that just the best feeling? ) a daily staple, heheheeh

Hi Holly! And your other boys. I forgot their names. I'm sorry. I like watching you work on the fly. Love the total randomness of these videos! I'd love to see what your babies look like. Maybe you could show a picture?
Not yet! We are all waiting 😉 Pam has said that Holly is a very shy boy - when she trains her camera on him he doesn't act the same. I'm not sure about the lovebirds (Leonardo and Happy)... Welcome to the neighborhood! Pam is supremely entertaining and informative while she is creating with reckless abandon 🤪
You can water down Aleene's tacky glue, but it is still pretty thick even when doing so. It does work okay as a mod podge type glue. I would just use the regular two to one ratio of elmer's school glue. It's pretty cheap per gallon which is how I buy it simply for Mod Podge purposes.
pam where do you get the right sized little metal tip that can fit the top of the glue bottles for fabrifix or etc other sized glue bottles. Do they just fit over the tip that is already on some bottles that have the too big of tip for glue?
Hi Diana, there are 2 different types of metal tips I use. One comes with a wet white glue called Art Glitter Glue. It specifically fits their bottle tip : www.amazon.com/dp/B074HKPG2K/?ref=exp_thepaperoutpost_dp_vv_d and the other metal tip comes with an empty bottle ( an icing piping bottle that I put my Fabrifix in to get a smaller bead or stream of glue. Here is that link: www.amazon.com/dp/B07R5TMNSN/?ref=exp_thepaperoutpost_dp_vv_d Hope this helps! :)
I just watched a quilling video where the artist gave a recipe for glue to use on the quilled paper, which was 2 parts white glue, 1 part water, and 1/2 part isopropyl alcohol. This makes me think that skipping the water and just using alcohol to thin white glues might be a good alternative to water, but I have not tried it myself yet
You brighten my day with not only what you demonstrate but your wit and birds singing!
Morning with coffee in hand ......watching u and journaling...ha....no chores this am....LOL....Funner....Have a good day all!
