I know this video is practically from the dark ages, but I absolutely love everything you made! I finally have some napkins & have even removed the extra layers, but haven’t gotten any further than that! Thank you for a roadmap to success! I love how the scrapbook paper peeks through, it gives them such good depth! That blue napkin that you made the first pouch is my favorite! It’s just gorgeous! Thank you, Miss E! Take good care! Erica❤
Someone needs to market napkins with no white layers! Such an issue separating them! Great ideas! Sure glad to continue to watch you present! Tonnnnes of information!
I like the wrinkles for it gives it texture. I am so glad your channel came on today. I am encouraging myself. I came down with the flu or something. I am starting to finally get better
I like the idea of gluing napkin to a not so loved printed paper as a background. There's always a few in a paper pad that I don't like so well! The pouch is cute. TFS 🤗
👍 I've been using paper napkins on my cards for decades... some I've fussy cut, some not. I shop for napkins with a certain season or event in mind. Amazon has gobs of paper napkins that I love for cards. Napkins glued to card stock is the only way to fussy cut BTW. 🌻 Sunflowers and Goldfinchs are my favorite because I looove yellow !!! This makes a super card for summer or fall. Keep crafting ! 🙋 Nana in se OK usa
If you have embossing folders those look really pretty when you emboss them and then you run a little ink over the top of them and gives them another texture I've done it and it looked so pretty
I thought I saw you stick the napkins down with glue stick but maybe someone else. Anyway, I did it with glue stick and it's really nice, so easy. The paper stays really smooth. Almost feels like fabric, dries really fast. I also decided I would use the plain white plies! That is very cool! I even printed on the napkin side.
I've done it with glue stick as well...did you put a top coat of podge over top...I found it worked great... I've also put white glue on a piece of plastic laid my napkin on top and added white glue over top and let dry overnight...you can cut it, sew it, I use it as a journal page too...I love this way of using napkins, can't wait to try it over a plain scrapbook page...love your videos...
Thank you!!! For showing how to make pouches without sewing! Yay! And I love the sound your scissors and paper made when cutting off the one side of the pouch...
wow so much information, loved it all !I didn't know how to put it all together, I've seen people do this, but they went so fast I couldn't figure out how they did it. It's nice that you explain as you go!These napkins are so colorful and the patterns are beautiful, Love the sewing that just adds the right touch!
Your channel has just popped up on my feed this morning and I am so excited and glad you did. U are exactly like me, ur so creative. Ur so helpful ur so descriptive I am only 4 episodes in this morning I love ur personality
I sometimes use PVA glue mix with a little water and it works fine. Just don't put too much on, so as not to make the paper/card too moist. Enjoyed your video very much.
What a wonderful video. You took plain Jane papers and transformed them into gorgeous elegant ladies to adorn our journels😍👏 your relaxed and inspiring manner helps untangle our worries and mishaps. I so envy the beautiful napkins you have received, for they touch papers and pages with vibrant colours and designs. Bringing a smile in these worrying times. Thank you so much and to all those wonderful people who help you by finding such treasures. And THANK YOU for a wonderful video.👏👏👏👏👏👏👏😊❤
Hello from Australia - all 7 states and territories have wonderful places to visit and you would not regret visiting, and we have many gorgeous birds including kookaburras and tiny finches :)
I love the feel of the paper with napkins glued to it. It just feels special. Nice project.😀💕👋🏻from Australia. Let us know when you get here so we can come and say hi.
What beautiful work. I love napkins, they are such works of art and are far too gorgeous to wipe your mouth on!! I will have a bash at these ideas and thank you from England for sharing them with the world. Love Pam x
I’ve just found you here and it just amazes me with a few pieces of file folders and scrapes of material, with paper and you have a wonderful piece of personal WONDERFUL! Just love all it and you make it look SO EASY. THANK YOU FOR THE WONDERFUL IDEAS! Looking forward to your drawing on the 50,000. Subscribers. Thank you, 🌈🌸🌷🌸🌈
Hello and greetings from Sydney, Australia. I had to laugh when you said you have always wanted to visit Australia as I always say I want to visit America! Love your idea of using a napkin to cover thin paper! It looks wonderful having the paper design showing through the napkin. And thank you for the tip in removing the napkin layers!
Kind of reminded me of my home country too. Here in Melbourne, Australia we are still in lockdown with Covid-19. Made me miss travelling around. We would certainly welcome you if you should get the chance to come and visit when we are allowed to travel again. Thank you for sharing your beautiful work 😊😊
I am new to doing journals and just love watching your videos and how you explain how to do things. Thank you for sharing. I am trying to binge watching all your videos.
I use PVA glue for decoupage and it turns out great. You are supposed to use the glue 2 parts glue to one part water. I am sure your gel medium is the best. I have used it before too. PVA is less expensive. Loved the collages and decoupage!!
📌 Always save ALL scraps 👍 Scraps, no matter the size or the papers used, can become useful at some other time ! You never know. I keep mine, ALL mine, in a clear box sorted by sizes. Just a FYI 🙋 Nana in se OK usa
Maybe somebody has already said this, but I always use tape to separate my napkins. If you put a piece of regular tape on it, it will pull the extra pieces off. works like a charm.😊
Wow! I never would have thought to do this. I have tons of paper I don't love and it wont go with any projects. You gave me some great ideas. Thank you
I know I am late to the party and this video was done some time ago. First let me say I really enjoyed the video. It was full of ideas. Secondly, I wanted to make a suggestion. You may have gained this knowledge by now, but if you dilute the pva glue with water it will do two things. One it will make it thinner and easier to spread, without losing it adhesiveness. It will also get rid of the tacky feeling left behind when it drys. I normally use a two to one ratio when I make the mixer. Two parts glue to one part water. I hope that helps in case you attempt it in the future.
Wow, great tip using the watercolor brush to 'cut' the napkin. Clever little bits to make these extra goodies. Great tips and techniques. Thanks once again :-)
I have found diluting the pea glue for napkins 30%water stops goodiness and works well enough for someone on a budget. Of course matte gel works best but good for budgets, thank you for sharing all you do,
I love watching you and how you involve us as if we're in your craft room. We do talk to you as you craft. It's so much fun. Love love you. Thanks for sharing.
Very interesting what you can do with napkins. The one that reminds you of Australia was nice. Hope you get to come down here one day, but dont forget to visit Tasmania, where I live.
Hi there luv ur tutorials I'm new to junk journals cnt wait to start one I've done this napkin idea for my paper beads but wth freezer paper its jst ironed on less mess and yes come to Australia i live in sunny warm Queensland 😀

I love this idea. That way you’re not wasting some scrapbook paper you don’t really like very much. Ingenious!

I LOVED the Birds n Flowers (the 1 w/the blue design background)

I water mine down a bit xx UK hayley weather is very damp and my brittle bone is on fire so just been colouring and crafting making bottles x
Simply gorgeous, what a way to use up paper and napkins. Loved the pouch!
To prevent warping, I place a glass sheet, glass down, over the TOP of the page until it's dry, usually overnight.
Great idea!
