I have watched other journal ladies, just to get other ideas. I prefer the way you explain everything clearly but quickly, all the while with enthusiastic humor. So, I always come back to The Paper Outpost simply because I like the way you do and explained the craft. Even though the term is Junk Journal, yours do not look junky. Some others are junky and cluttered and I don't prefer that way lol. Accept your compliments with grace because I am paying you and Holly several!.You have even shown us how to cover up or correct mistakes ! Thank you.
Sue Mitchell ,, i do the same thing. Sorry. But some talk a lot , and I get Bored,,and move on. I like Pam. The way she is joking and talking. And singing 🎤 👍😉😳
I had to chuckle at myself a bit because as you were talking about your husband cooking lunch my kids were downstairs heating their lunches too. I kept thinking, "My, his lunch smells good!" ;-D A definite slap-your-forehead moment! Thank you for all of your innovative ideas and fun personality! Always a pleasure to see what you're working on!
I have been making things all week. I watch you then bring my tablet to ,my craft space (dining room table) ha ha then recreate my own way. Thank you so much. Pamela D
It's unbelievable how many great videos you have!! Thank you so much for sharing all these fabulous ideas, you're amazing! Wishing you a lovely week! Hugs from Ditte
What an awesome way to get the brain pumping. Thank you for sharing. I will try some of these for my own channel and give you a shout out though I am just starting out. You are one of my favorite creators. Keep on creating and sharing. Peace to you.
Good morning Pam! Such great inspiration as usual. Will be doing some of these later for sure! Always wonderful to “see” you and have a visit. Enjoying the birds this morning as well, they always sound so happy! Have a blessed weekend Pam hope your doing well. 🌹❤️
I am so glad I found your videos. You are so creative and talented. I love how your mind works to create beautiful pages. I watched another one of your videos where you made a junk journal using a book and you showed us your trunk full of journals you had created. They were totally amazing. I love how you use vintage papers and trinkets in making your journals. I would love to make one for my niece I am sure it would cheer her up. She had a mastectomy a few weeks ago and this would give her a chance to get her thoughts on paper that is as unique as her personality. Thank you so much for sharing and including us in your wonderful world of junk journaling, although I do not know why you call yours junk journals, since yours are absolutely beautiful.
Ok, I have to admit to something.....you are one of a rare few that lures me into talking to my laptop! lol as soon as you started, I´m like - Heeey, and almost waved! Awesome ideas you shared :) 💜
Good morning from cloudy Wisconsin. As usual a beautiful way to start the day. So much done with two book pages. Love the way they look. And I always love the bird songs and your cheerful voice. Have a fantastic weekend. ❣️❣️
The we in your craft room includes Holly and the love birds ( their names escape me right now) The 2 page pockets are nice. Makes lots of pockets to fill
Thank you! I enjoy your fun little songs : too. You give me great ideas and do so with fun; so I end up laughing or smiling. “front ground page” if I ever use that I will be sure and attribute that to you. Btw I think we usually say “foreground “ but I like your word better! eating pizza at Pisa ... yes another smile.
Good morning from east of France. Thank you very much for your ideas and tutos. It s fantastic! I have a lot of old school books from my grandfather(teacher) and like to make this. I wish you a nice day and good scrap. Bye!
There were two trips by those motorcycle enthusiasts, the long way round and the long way down. The long way round went from England through Europe and Asia to New York. That's when they drove parts of the Road of Bones in Russia. The long way down was from the top of Scotland to Cape Town in South Africa. I love both shows and have the books and DVDs 😊
Thats them! Oh I loved those documentaries! And I am not even in to bikes!! But I may have to change my mind on that since my hubby just bought a motorcycle. Eek! ;) Wish me luck ;)
thank you for explaining (1) how you use your ink stamp daubers like the universal green color all same dauber -- a ha, so that's why you have the little thread around each one so you know which color family to use it-- because I thought in my head I needed a separate stamp dauber for each different shade, and then how do you keep track of them.... (2) also that you can line up your punch from the bottom to see where things line up... yeah... I'm new to this world, and although I do pretty well for a newbie with not a fierce amount of talent … sometimes I need a little more explaining. One of the things that's really nice about Pam and the Paper outpost (including the facebook group) is the support and humor!
great, fun… and same news……. I hear on background singing birds…… and my birds "respond" on this too, so….. this is double pleasure watch your channel….. :-)
Love the pockets but I was counting on the sprouting potatoes making it into the "front ground".. didn't you hear us crying "noooo..don't hide them!" lol. tfs
Hey Pam. I truly enjoy watching your videos. I am fairly new at this and learning something every day. But I have a question and I know that you will have the answer. I bought some ink dobbers with pads but they don't want to stay on. Should I glue them? I noticed that the manufacturer stapled the original. What to do? Puzzled in Georgia. Thanks!😊🦋
Pam! It's been a moment 😃. I liked what I saw. You know it's been hard to find the glitter glue you use in my neighborhood craft stores🤔. Since that is so, I was wondering maybe I'm going about this thing the wrong way(?) The metal tip on your glue bottle, can it be purchased separately? And put on the tip of the glue bottle I'm using? If so, where can I get it or them?
Hi Joyce, it may work. It has to fit on the nozzle correctly. Here is a link to just by the tip. www.amazon.com/dp/B004ITCU3O/?ref=idea_lv_dp_ov_d&tag=aiponsite-20&linkCode=ic6&ascsubtag=amzn1.ideas.1CCBAE9VXKJ4T
LOL, my pretty scrapbook paper sits in a pile on the floor in a box...I really need to pull from it more. I have had it for over 5 years. ;) But its so much darn fun to make our own paper and stamp on it and spritz it with colors etc! And don't get me started on book pages!! Oooo-la-la! ;)
Pam I see this video is older but I think you might still get any current comments……just wondering if you will ever do LIVE videos..I think that would be awesome
You really gotta watch out for that Seedless Preserves- -sneaky fellow. And not to start rumors, but I've had it from several sources that Mr. Seedless ain't really so seedless after all. Some have even referred to him as...dare I say it? ...seedy.
Great pockets!! I have a question if you have a lot of book pages that have inappropriate stuff on them. sometimes I'm gifted books that are falling apart that have words that you wouldn't want to share in your, but why let a book go to recycle bin. What would you do with it? 🌻💜🦋💚🐞
LOL, I have many book pages with "odd" words or expressions on them. Here are a few ideas: cover the bad words using collage or color or stabilo pencils or rubber stamps, or throw it in a blender and make your own paper from paper pulp, or use these book pages for your basement pages or underlayment when you are building up thickness..say youw ant to make a pocket but your chosen book page is flimsy...this is a great time to pull out some of that less than desirable paper! Hope this helps Lala!
Like using my tons of pages! Great ideas. Question. How do we clean our stamps? I just bought out the Goodwill Store of stamps and some of them look like they need cleaning first.
LOL, I am the worst person to offer stamp cleaning advice. I rarely clean mine...I know..cringe.. bad crafter..for shame! But I have used baby wipes or dish soap and water or shampoo and water with good results for regular dye. But if its archival ink, you may need special solvents to remove it. They also sell stamp cleaners in bottles at hobby lobby. Good luck!! :)
I agree with laurel,I'm sorry but you seem to be making judgement on Pam that's 1 of the best in the business, holly is gorgeous bird n makes everyone's.day have a nice day.n I'm not being sarcastic,I just come out of heart attack n this picky stuff is what got me there, leave Pam alone if you don't like then don't comment please
Pam, I saw your list of equipment on your Amazon store (nice store, btw). What version phone are you using to film? I don't find reference to your phone anywhere. Thanks.
Hi, the phone is at the very bottom of my Amazon store beside the desk arm and the ring light. I use a Samsung S10+ Android phone. Here is the link to see it :) www.amazon.com/dp/B07N4M412B/?ref=exp_thepaperoutpost_dp_vv_d

Hi fellow Pamela! The metal tip I use goes with the Art Glitter Glue bottle. You can buy the tip separately but I am not sure it will fit other bottles of glue or that the other glue is thin enough to go through that teeny hole. But it may be worth a try! :) Here is the link for the tip: www.amazon.com/dp/B004ITCU3O/?ref=idea_lv_dp_ov_d&tag=aiponsite-20&linkCode=ic6&ascsubtag=amzn1.ideas.1CCBAE9VXKJ4T and here is the link for the glue and tip: www.amazon.com/dp/B0767PZDL1/?ref=idea_lv_dp_ov_d&tag=aiponsite-20&linkCode=ic6&ascsubtag=amzn1.ideas.1CCBAE9VXKJ4T Hope this helps!
