Truck ride height difference aside, did you notice an increase in harshness in ride quality when the bags are set at 55psi over the unloaded 5psi pressure? Since they're riding more on the air bags instead of the springs like you talked about?
I noticed most airbags setups are "T'd" off a single airline. This system sends an airline to each airbag. Do you think you could use one airline to fill an air tank, and the second line to fill two airbags?
Hey great video! Question…. Which compressor did you go with? I have a 21 ram 2500 and I like the way that you mounted it. I would rather not loose me spare tire if I could help it.
This is the setup I'm looking for for my 2021 ram 2500 as well. Did u get this as a package? Both the bags and compressor? Or did u have to buy each individually? Would u happen to have part numbers for each?
I ordered mine from sd truck springs is where I found the best deal. I ordered them separately. I ordered 5000 bags with internal bump stops. If I could go back I would not order internal bump stops.. changes the ride of the truck..
Read your Airlift manual. You can run zero psi with the Airlift that have internal jounce bumpers. My 2014 with this same setup rode just like stock with the Airlift 5000 and internal jounce bumpers. The bags without internal jounce require 5psi, negatively affecting ride.
Not sure how the internal bump stops would create a rough ride ? they are the same as the oem and has gap to the chassis, what am i missing, also have you tried one without bumps stops?
Great video. I have the same setup in my F-150. Ride was great before the install. You’re right. The five lbs definitely stiffens up the rear. Is there a way to reduce the minimum pressure to less than five pounds? I’ve been looking but haven’t found anything.
So I just hooked this system up to my ford pickup, I wired in to the auxiliary switch system, but the compressor will turn on with or without the switch enabled. I was told that this is because it will look to the app first and then the ignition sourced switch. Do you know of a way to get around that? Because essentially there's no point to having the compressor wired to the switch at all. Thanks
If its wired to a switch and it powers on or off without the switch being in the on position, likely wired incorrectly somewhere. The 12v current is bypassing your switch. The system should be dead, if it’s wired to a switch unless that switch is in the on position. An ignition 12v power source should be used. You do not want this to be able to cycle automatically with the ignition off, you will end up with a dead battery. If your system uses a pressure sensor, make sure that you have not connected it to a constant hot as on a normal air system, the sensor is what kicks the compressor on and off. If constant current is bypassing the sensor, likely you have a failed pressure switch, however, the pressure switch should not be active with the main power on a 12v aux switch in the off position.
Im not being judgmental or anything. But, if you dont put the leveling kit on the truck you can still use the bags to achieve a 2 in drop when towing. Ita made to have the 2 in drop and rides better. This is for guys who tow a lot of miles. If you dont use your trucks that much, its not really a big deal. You can get a little more payload this way when towing. Not by paperwork, but it does respond better. I do mean like 5 to 600lbs, and not like 2k more. Thats just stupid so dont do that.
Great video thank you for sharing

I run my bags independent from each other for less body roll and lean in windy conditions.
Cool video! Maybe your ride in the rear is stiffer due to the rear sway bar being under stress.
which leveling kit are you running?

Went with airlift brand

With stock brackets and suspension the bag is on the bump stop when you install it.
Hey Brother! How heavy is the trailer you haul? I have a 10-11k tongue pull lol it’s a beast. Deciding between the AL 5000 or 7500? Whatcha think?
Both will work.. stay away from internal bump stops… they make your truck ride horrible
@@RockyRohde Roger That! I’ll steer clear of the bump stops. Thanks for the honest advice buddy
Me 2 Corey have a 33ft torque bumper pull toyhauler think it's 1200 pound tongue weight

Do you have the product number for the compressor you installed?
Air lift 25980EZ
Is your radar detector hardwired into your mirror?
No..
@@RockyRohde okay..
Can you do a auto level feature on the app?
Not that I’m aware of..
@@RockyRohde damn looking for something similar to the factory auto level. Thanks
Kelderman but it’s $$
@@RockyRohde just looked them up . For $1000 you figured it would have a nice compressor setup like you have . Thank you
Wat is da part number on everything

Is that Bluetooth connectivity or what?
Yes
It’s nice
These RUclipsrs died or something after making the videos. They don’t respond
I’m here what’s the question? Sorry sometimes the message box gets full and when I respond to a few the not responded disappears.
Damn... glad i never bought a 2500.
I've got a 22 3500 srw limited mega , my payload is 4100
please stop with the freaking leveling kits. they are raked for a freakin reason.
I will never buy a Dodge again. I did the Ram thing once, never again.
