Shes an honoured student of one of Numbani's most prestigious institutes of technology. The OR15s got wrecked, and she requested to use their salvage in her work. Considering its likely the institute would have repurposed what was left of the bots, its no surprise she was able to take one of the damaged frames and rebuild it.

You still need a more solid breaking system. Friction is still probably really reliable especially since the cars are low to the ground.

This despite the fact that Orisa has a good balance of capabilities and a decent aesthetic
heath hertter yeah she works very well as an offensive & defensive hero.
She supports the likes of Bastion & Torbjorn very well
Good things: Movement ability against crowd control (heck, technically, her movement ability is NOT moving XD); over average crowd control ability (Halt made my day more than once with enviromental kills XD); flexible shield (you can shoot and shield yourself at the same time; and the arching travel of the shield opens possibilities to help the team), huge cartridge and projectiles that don't have fall off.
Not so good things: She's huge. Reaper kills her pretty easily. And her weapon is kinda unreliable. Her shoots don't fall off but they're pretty weak and have travel time, which make her a bit hard to master.
Even so, i'm a proud Orisa main. So cute :3

I'm actually pretty excited for a rein-like hero because I love rein but he can be a bit boring sometimes
Jeff Kaplan actually went on his way to say that Orisa is supposed to be "alternative" to Reinhardt, another "Anchor Tank" which team can build around. Right now, there's no real substitute to Reinhardt in terms of protection.
Rein has the BEST voice acting.
But yeah, being a shield for a team all day kinda gets boring.
Maybe this hero directly counters the new bastion.
and he's completely wrong. She's nothing like rein because once again they fail to understand what about rein makes him so good. It isn't just that he has a projected shield, it's that his projected shield is mobile. She doesn't replace rein in any situation, her shield is strictly worse in every way. She can shoot and use her CC while her shield is up, but her damage isn't reliable enough for that to matter and the CC orb travels at a snail's pace. Plus she has less HP than rein too.
Overall pretty underwhelming hero.

That i already did it XD. Orisa is made to counter Doomfist in every way in a one-to-one battle:
-Shield to cover from shooting fist.
-Halt to stop / deflect the charging punch.
-Fortify to avoid any combo that beast of a man can pull off and withstand any damage he could cause.
-And a frigging energy gatling gun to put that martial artist down.
I applied it sometimes and, in a one-to-one, i win always. If there's a team behind, i can survive... usually, at least.

I really feel like we need like a comic or short to explain how different Orisa is in Overwatch 2. All her lore seems to be about how she's a protector and cares about safety & unity more than anything. Now that she's lost her barrier and her drum, being replaced with an offensive spear, something must have happened to make her decide aggression was a better way to protect people.

Mudkip Plays I think it will be PG-13, sense HALF of the war is machines, and the other half had armors and other equipment (Such as the germans having the knight units Reignhardt use to be part of) the need for gore would be low, they could get away with PG-13 and still hold hte heart of the story

zenootjuhhhhh I mean, in this game, Omnics as a whole are regarded as a race, and as such deserve proper identity through gender labels.
Plus in one of the pregame spawn quotes at Nepal, Zenyatta refers to Mundatta (I think that was his name, he was the Omnic peace rally leader who Widow assasinated in the "Alive" animated short), in which Zenyatta says "I miss HIM dearly"
So yes, in this game, robots DO have genders.
"female robot AI programming" what do you mean by that other than "it acts feminine and sounds like a girl". like literally........ why would a robot need a gender. there is zero reason for a creature that isn't going to be reproducing to have one in the first place.
Eh, could help steer it in a direction if it has it's own self programming. It's called female, it's supposed to be a protector, it sees females fight to the death to defend their young, she begins covering young things, sees them care for babies, she tries to care more for babies, ect. It is not female, but it does have feminine programming in it's personality programs, and may (/did) build apon them using actual females as a base.
So yea, the robot isn't female, but it acts as one, so may as well call it that instead of pseudo female machine.

coco nut this is a competitive shooter. The game is amazing and extremely addictive but you just can't compare it in any way with something like the witcher.
That is one of my favourite games but I've played overwatch a lot more. This is just a little presentation to enrich the lore behind the new character. If you want an RPG or story or any kind of narrative in the game. Just move along. If you want to shoot, this is most likely the best shooter there is now.
Efi is so inspiring. She is intelligente and cares so much about her city and its citizens. I want to know more about her.

technically based on what little lore we have, there are 3 known Doomfists. we don't know there affiliations, but based on there artwork and titles, one was regarded as a hero or soldier, another a villain, and the third unknown
The villain is the scourge. The in-game references you're mentioning are The Savior, The Scourge, and The Successor. 1, 2, and 3 respectively.

Orisa. Could be a play on the name OR-15A? You've got the "OR" at the beginning, a 1 for the "I", a 5 for the "s", and the "A" could just represent how ORISA is a new, better model of the old OR-15's.
A Few Sincere Apologies I doubt anyone would disagree with your assessment there, it's pretty apparent. However, an Orisa or Orisha is also a god/ guardian spirit in west African myth.
