this house was hosted in a haunted real estate website, two adult sisters hosted a party that may or may not had someone having sex in it, and finally someone murderered their waifu wife in the house. what history this house had.

I came expecting some dark, evil twist on a 'cute' game, stayed for the, frankly, wholesome and interesting take on a dark topic and scenario. Was a really neat game!
This game was incredibly moving in so many different ways. Death and grief are often difficult and taboo subjects to talk about, and how the protagonist helped all of the characters reach catharsis was really moving.
That would be something, a ghost making a youtube channel and posting videos on youtube, while also live streaming on youtube, while a ghost, but no one sees them, that would be something.
Honestly this is a really cool game, the concept and how everything went. Lowkey kinda my favorite game now 😂 I really enjoyed watching this! Thank you Manly!
I would like to point out that the TV is marked by multiple hand prints, while it seems like it was blood in reality it was just a toddler who got access to paint making art, that also applies to everything else that looks like blood it's just really abstract art.
This must be the most depressing job. Cute ghost girls show up, tell you how horribly they died, or that they want more to do with their lives, and all you can do is help them move on to the afterlife, and then return home and learn something from the past. I guess you get the satisfaction from a job well done and helping the undead but... that's not ghost girl cuddling.
10 minutes in, I just realized that this is THAT house that people use 'cause it's open access. Can't help but hear a "How's it going dude" when I notice it. Also congrats on 600k subs, Manly!

*Carly best ghost* 💕 _mannn carly's section was hella soulful- and that n a m e p u n oh my god_ I paused to read the fast text frame-by-frame, I just love how passionate Carly is. Even though I myself have never had an interest in cars, there's really nothing like listening to someone go on a rant about their passions. It can get a little overwhelming but just the excitement in their eyes, the honesty in their voice, it's truly one-of-a-kind. Sometimes it's a bit rambly, but you know what? That's okay too. Let all that emotion flow through you. Share what you love with the world. Carly talks about wanting to put more into their passion, but not having the finances nor resources to do so, and feeling inadequate because of it. That kind of feeling seems really deep-rooted and hard to overcome. It's something I need to overcome too, and I appreciate the developers for adding that. It's like when you join a fandom and see all the amazing things the others have made, all that talent and creativity and then you look at your own work (or sometimes lack thereof) and you're just "ugh, [insert negative thoughts here]" I especially relate to the impostor syndrome thing, I feel like I've always been a poser. Everything in my life has just been a passing fad, a phase you could say... I would live and breathe a topic, a game or a show for a few weeks, sometimes a few months, and then when I lost interest I'd turn around and drop it like it never really meant anything. There's just no permanence. To be so completely devoted to something for so long like Carly is just beautiful, but at the same time very hard for me to imagine myself doing (mad respect for carly) also i decided i need carly timestamps (32:50, 34:24, 35:30) sorry for the long text- thx for taking the time to read, that's sweet of u

13:26 Holy fuck I refuse to believe this isn't a reference to Karl Jobst's "Absolute legends" line he always uses in his videos. I'd like to think he's iconic enough to have his "Absolute legends" line spread far and wide in gaming culture. Man's known for that line.
The blood is probably symbolic- but even when someone dies after collapsing, if they sit there blood and other bodily fluids or waste will form a puddle. If a body decomposes it can explode from humidity and gas buildup! I usually watch Spalding Decon who is a real cleanup company channel. They make videos about crime scene and death cleanups. (they also do hoardings and emergencies) It's in order to give people with a strong stomach a better understanding of death and they sometimes talk to loved ones to comfort them.... it reminds me of the premise of this game 💓
@@CEOofBadArt OH damn, didn't expect the devs to show up. I'll be honest, I had a big, huge arse comment typed up going into detail about how it seemed each of them died, and what their anchor to the mortal realm was, even going into probably way, way too much detail on how social and cultural expectations could play a role in the business woman being the one to take the offer of two player as a date. Even a ramble on how the husband could be a serial killer who has created more than one ghost and how even the single line about him claiming he'd take care of the housewife ghost if she quit her job could have been considered an early indication of abusive behavior, namely financial abuse. I'm uh. Pretty glad I didn't now. But yes, more of this kind of thing would be nice. It's like Viscera Cleanup Detail, but with more character interaction and story telling.
@@alchemysaga3745 I'd still like to see your analysis though :) Also yeah, the husband thing was kinda sorta what I was going for when I wrote Katherine Glad that came through!

"OH, it actually worked? Great!! Man, it's been so long since anyone has actually been able to talk to me... and even longer since anyone WANTED to talk to me."
"Like, it's so frustrating how my friends never appreciated hot rides as much as I did."
"Not to say they didn't like cars"
"Who doesn't like cars?"
"We were mostly all friends because we could bond over how we enjoyed cars, but over time they started to prefer motorcycles more and would go on motorcycle runs."
"I never really joined them."
"I appreciate motorcycles, y'know, but they don't have the raw horsepower that cars do"
"The way cars handle are just SUPERIOR to that of motorcycles"
"You only get 2 wheels on a bike, why pay more insurance for less wheels?? Anything a bike can do a car does better!"
"Oh have you ever experienced that tingly sensation when you rev a car juuuust right? MAN that's so good"
"I'm more of a sports-car fan myself"
"Not that there's anything wrong with the off-road variety but those just make me nervous"
"I was built for thrills but it just feels terrible on the body when you are fighting terrain that wasn't meant to be driven on."
"Oh man in the communities I'm in there's this REALLY big debate between gasoline and electricity"
"I think electric is totally the way to go, I'm happy to hop on board for these new innovations, but wow is there a HEATED debate about the gasoline tier list"
"Petrol is a vintage classic, but I've never been a fan of it, it's not had very good mileage and bang for its buck."
"Diesel, on the other hand, has a much more modern set of specs."
"Helps that it's more readily available worldwide..."
"I still don't prefer it to electric, electric cars have a much better upgrade path, and are better for the planet."
"Oh, but you know what I think is a real missed opportunity?"
"BUSES."
"OH I AM DISAPPOINTED IN BUSES."
"I always see these buses advertising their eco-friendly status but they just don't have the STYLE that most cars do."
"It's not just that, all the buses I've had to take are really dusty and those darn kids who sit at the back of the bus thinking we can't see them"
"BUT OH, WE CAN SEE YOU THERE, TRYING TO SET THINGS ON FIRE WITH A LIGHTER."
"THAT'S DANGEROUS??? And illegal?? What's wrong with the younger generation?1??"
"Kids these days can't even appreciate the classics."
"People just aren't as interested in cars anymore"
"It's either motorbikes or racing games nowadays."
"It's just so hard to experience the awesome feeling of the Gs on your body when you're just simulating it in a game, y'know."
"Just not the same..."
"Ah man, it would be great to head to one of those car museums again."
"Really can appreciate the engine. Truly the peak of human engineering."
"It really makes you think about the history behind cars, from the very first iteration to the modern stuff we have these days,"
"from 10 horsepower to 1,000 billion... honestly, it's life-changing."
"... You know what I'm talking about, right??"
Damn you actually transcribed it? Mad respect
@@CEOofBadArt Someone had to do it for the convenience. It only took maybe 10-20ish minutes. I was really enjoying the game anyway so it was no biggie. Thank you for your considerate comment.
HOW?!?!
@@sharky5965 Lots of time and work. It also helps that the period and comma keys allow you to go frame by frame.
I can totally relate to the feeling of revving a car perfectly lmao
34:00 welp, guess we know what became of the AE86 after Final Stage of Initial D...
The ghost is actually Takumi's friend Itsuki who tried fixing up the AE86 at the gas station shop. And when he finally got to test drive it finally, it ended up killing him.
A lonely driver to the very end...

this house was hosted in a haunted real estate website, two adult sisters hosted a party that may or may not had someone having sex in it, and finally someone murderered their waifu wife in the house. what history this house had.

This game is incredible, the vibe it gives off after watching the entire thing is amazing! The music and the graphics just give such a nice and special vibe i love it, and the gameplay is nice too
I came expecting some dark, evil twist on a 'cute' game, stayed for the, frankly, wholesome and interesting take on a dark topic and scenario. Was a really neat game!
This game was incredibly moving in so many different ways. Death and grief are often difficult and taboo subjects to talk about, and how the protagonist helped all of the characters reach catharsis was really moving.
That would be something, a ghost making a youtube channel and posting videos on youtube,
while also live streaming on youtube, while a ghost, but no one sees them, that would be something.
Mint Maid was a Vtuber who follow that idea. Too bad she graduated recently, i started to miss her.
@@rockcaster1091 wait so she is actually dead?
Look at the swagger and confidence in that walk tho.
I knew I remembered this house the second I saw it. It's the house from that one horror game where you are suppose to be looking at a house virtually.
You're right! I didn't even notice until you pointed it out
I just noticed! It’s that house from the retailer game. I watched Jacksepticeye play it.
It's the HQ_Residential_House. It's a very common Unity asset to find in games, mainly because it's relatively cheap and well-modeled.
I immediately recognized the one house that John finds in every other game.
First 4 minutes and you can already tell manly crushing on the first ghost alone 😅
Who wouldn't? They were so kind

I- uh- um... what?
Lol
I would like to point out that the TV is marked by multiple hand prints, while it seems like it was blood in reality it was just a toddler who got access to paint making art, that also applies to everything else that looks like blood it's just really abstract art.
lol
This must be the most depressing job. Cute ghost girls show up, tell you how horribly they died, or that they want more to do with their lives, and all you can do is help them move on to the afterlife, and then return home and learn something from the past.
I guess you get the satisfaction from a job well done and helping the undead but... that's not ghost girl cuddling.
10 minutes in, I just realized that this is THAT house that people use 'cause it's open access. Can't help but hear a "How's it going dude" when I notice it.
Also congrats on 600k subs, Manly!
manly reading the old fashion ghost lines in british accent is the best thing ive ever heard.. 10/10

Man, you could have a real nice Party in a House like this.
Yeah until one of your straight edge friends shows up and kills the vibe lol
The "How's it going dude" appears and blocks the liquor cabinet...
I love that the house party house is an infamous free asset
I was honestly wondering why the formatting of the house was so familiar.
I'd say you're all people of culture but that game was played by all the popular youtubers
*Carly best ghost* 💕
_mannn carly's section was hella soulful- and that n a m e p u n oh my god_
I paused to read the fast text frame-by-frame, I just love how passionate Carly is.
It's like when you join a fandom and see all the amazing things the others have made, all that talent and creativity and then you look at your own work (or sometimes lack thereof) and you're just "ugh, [insert negative thoughts here]"
I especially relate to the impostor syndrome thing, I feel like I've always been a poser.
Everything in my life has just been a passing fad, a phase you could say... I would live and breathe a topic, a game or a show for a few weeks, sometimes a few months, and then when I lost interest I'd turn around and drop it like it never really meant anything. There's just no permanence.
To be so completely devoted to something for so long like Carly is just beautiful, but at the same time very hard for me to imagine myself doing (mad respect for carly)
also i decided i need carly timestamps (32:50, 34:24, 35:30)
sorry for the long text- thx for taking the time to read, that's sweet of u
Doctor Pepper will always be there for you.
When the chips are down, and I was on the brink of my final reset before the world turned in on itself I turned to my old friend Dr Pepper tm. And as a bonus, no one knows the work that was done to preserve their existence because Dr.Pepper tm. is like a rock and his lips don't snitch.

The unity house haunts me. If I ever saw the house irl I would pick it up immediately. I can tell it's the house just from one shot of any part in the house in any angle
That ara ara from manly is the most scariest thing in this video
13:26 Holy fuck I refuse to believe this isn't a reference to Karl Jobst's "Absolute legends" line he always uses in his videos. I'd like to think he's iconic enough to have his "Absolute legends" line spread far and wide in gaming culture. Man's known for that line.
I hope so too honestly. First thing that came to mind when I saw that was Karl's voice.
Watching this was weirdly relaxing. Thanks, Manly!
Manly saying “ara ara” brings me joy
The blood is probably symbolic- but even when someone dies after collapsing, if they sit there blood and other bodily fluids or waste will form a puddle. If a body decomposes it can explode from humidity and gas buildup! I usually watch Spalding Decon who is a real cleanup company channel. They make videos about crime scene and death cleanups. (they also do hoardings and emergencies) It's in order to give people with a strong stomach a better understanding of death and they sometimes talk to loved ones to comfort them.... it reminds me of the premise of this game 💓
The Raidcon reference was a nice touch
Ever since house party I can always recognize this house. What a blessing
Man, what a cute game. I wish the game wasn't this short, I was so invested in the characters... 😪
Imagine driving Carly
I don't know if I should be rewatching this after one of my friends just passed but I really need some jokes and cool games to cheer me up
We all seek healing in our own ways. I hope this video and the passage of time has brought you some comfort.

This was nice to watch while in the hospital. I'd actually like more games in this vein, including the happy ending.
We're considering making a sequel ;D
