What happens if anna was the ghost?
Theory:
Anna had friends BEFORE she was a ghost. His name was aaron, he helped her with her problems with her family
Then soon after that they became *really* close friends, and then aaron died from a car accident.. Anna has never slept, drink, and ate. Then soon after that she died but didnt go into the afterlife. She stayed as a ghost and waited for her mom to come while the clown doll was actually her friend's soul trapped in there screaming for help.. But she didnt hear his screams of agony. Right until the man came.. Aaron finally escaped the clown doll but stayed there for a bit longer to protect anna. The words he said were this: "I wont let you hurt my friend!!" Then he got a rip to the chest, arm, and leg
He was happy to be alive and so was anna..They continued to play but until the man came again. Aaron was too slow to protect her.. So she was dead. And aaron has tried to find the man ever since..

Not only the head...
The art is nice, but the main appeal here is just finding out what happens. Lots of bad endings, but the most interesting ones are easily the good endings. They're all a rollercoaster, from the doll saving you to that demon swearing fealty to Anna. Just so odd that you'd never predict them, in a way that works in the game's favor.
The mother ending is interesting too because the anna is a ghost ending insinuates anna is dead, and the mother was looking for her. Maybe the mother was a ghost too? Maybe not?
@@tellmeninetails5819 maybe the mother is a woman crazed by grief and only hopes anna is there, when in actuality the girl is a lost soul who takes comfort in the fact that someone needs her. She sits idly on the chair waiting for the loving figure to return, because she quite literally has nothing better to do. Anna has made herself believe she is this womans true child and so is blindsided by the truth, of which always comes back to remind her of where she came from when she is alone.

Manly is the only way I can "play" scary video games because I can't play them without getting super scared and he makes everything in the game seem not so scary even when bad stuff happens

For when the clown toy defended her:
She was in the middle of an fight. She probably fell on top of the clown in the scuffle, or she pushed her head in a way where she can fall on top of him. Also, the body shaking (when she was crying) could be a product of uncontrollable sobbing from her head alone.
For when she was in front of the camera:
You can see the camera is at a high angle, based off the angle we see the girl from. For a little girl, that would be way too high to just stand up in front of. Since this happened immediately after the spirit things started showing up, we could assume the spirits possessed her or held her up in front of the camera.
Or another theory could be that she's a ghost stuck in a single spot, forever living a loop of a single moment in her life. (This theory was made after seeing that final scene in the video)
I just think her being paralyzed makes sense because why else would she spend hours staring at a door, and only shaking in response to loud noises, but never checking to see what they are? Or at least running at the sign of danger that shes clearly afraid of? That's the only reasonable thing I can think of?
Or, the with the ghost theory... the player is not just some outside force changing the world around her... but instead the girl herself, having some weird afterlife out of body experience, in which shes trying to save herself from a loop.

I think canon wise the girl was a ghost the whole time, but that raises another question, how did she die? Perhaps it was an accident that happened when her mother left her home alone previously and in the girls own mind she still believes she's waiting for her mother to get home.
If the game hasn’t hinted to you enough, it’s obvious Anna’s home was broken into and she got assaulted/killed.
The money says it’s the delivery man who was watching her from the window, seeing she was all alone still waiting for mom late at night.

I can assume that based off certain events like the “kidnapping” ending, Anna may have been kidnapped or a home invasion resulted in her death. She waits for her mom all the time when she leaves and she is visibly happy when her mom comes back. While it seems like the mother sees her, it’s just her returning from groceries and has no idea that the ghost of Anna is there. The skull might represent the girl being dead, the syringe might’ve been used to knock out Anna when she was taken, and the flower ring is a reminder of Anna to the mother. Maybe the mother is in denial as well and the chair being in the middle of the room is probably what she found when Anna died. Anna most likely died doing the same thing she does in-game. Her mom wasn’t home and she died or was kidnapped.
Or the skull represents the friend that died saving her.
That was pretty interesting the art was pretty charming and it had a good mix of horror and sweetness
