this is metalcore. hardcore punk + melodic metal. deathcore is like slaughter to prevail or lorna shore, which is metalcore + death metal. other major genres include death metal (arch enemy, jinjer), power metal (powerwolf, unleash the archers), nu metal (slipknot, linkin park), and heavy metal (black sabbath, iron maiden)
Slight correction for you. Deathcore is Death metal and Hardcore. Not Metalcore and Death metal. Arch Enemy is Melodic Death Metal. Jinjer is metalcore. Hardcore punk and Hardcore are VASTLY different genres.

@@damsaucy Literally nothing about Jinjer is Death Metal. The entire vocal style is completely different as is the tempo. Progressive yes.

I think the genre is basically known as metalcore. Of which Fit for a King is amazing at. They're no Demon Hunter (who actually did a song with Howard Jones back in 04). I would check out "Resistance" by Demon Hunter for another solid metalcore experience. Ryan Clarks vocals are hypnotic.
