Been wanting to do this video for ages (some of you are well aware of my on stream rants against the Imperial Jumptrooper and casual Rebel troops, for example), but have never found the time to do so until now. Of course, I love the game and DICE are only human. No one expects them to do a perfect job with Battlefront (canon lore wise, bugs, etc). This video is merely meant to point out the canon inaccuracies, and nothing more. Just like you see plenty of videos pointing out bugs in Battlefront 2, well, seeing as I'm more of a lore guy, I wanted to use my knowledge and make a different kind of video. With that said, I know I may have missed some non canon stuff in the video. So if you've found any that I didn't cover, let me know here!
Not really, there are different variations of standard Stormtrooper armor. In the last episode of the Mandalorian, we see two variations on screen together (A New Hope and Rogue One Stormtrooper armor). So it's possible ROTJ armor was used in those battles seen in the game too.
100%. Different story if you're one person making a game, but they deal with an entire team of people (both with SW and non SW fans). So of course mistakes like these happen.
Norway, only the specialist had accessories. The general infantry troopers just had the marked armor. And there are different companies within the clone battalions or legions. So having different markings than another company would have been possibly, making the “mustard trooper” accurate for a possible 327th trooper.
TECHNICALLY...... they could have changed colors. In the Clone Wars the 327th phase I had a bright French's yellow mustard color, while in Revenge of the Sith, we see them with a darker mustard yellow. Also, I'm fairly sure not every...single....last....trooper had accessories. Who cares if they did anyway? Just toss it up as a cool skin. Fallen Order has non cannon implements, but I'm sure the majority of the story is cannon right? Just have fun, and be happy EA and Lucasfilms are even listening to begin with.

Stormtroopers that were really bad at paintball when only red paintballs were available are not sith troopers. Sith troopers are from the old republic, and they are not bright red.

Here’s one inaccuracy that I know of, that bugs the HELL out of me; Slug Throwers (the Vanguard, and Stinger Pistol) no longer penetrate Energy Shields, such as the Specialist’s Bubble Shield, Droideka’s Bubble Shield, Iden’s Bubble Shield, Heavy’s Combat Shield, or the Squad Shield or Leia’s Squad Shield, despite them having gotten it right the first time, in Battlefront 2015.
Wade Wilson Grenades aren’t the same as Slug Throwers. Energy Shields can deflect fast moving solid objects, if they’re the right size. Which is why grenades and other solid objects like Rocks and small bits of matter like Lightsabers are deflected by shields. But Slug-Throwers from the SW universe shoot actual bullets, which are supposed to be small enough, and fast enough, to penetrate the Energy Shields. The Cycler Rifle, the Scatter Gun, and the Stinger Pistol were all able to penetrate Bubble Shields, Squad Shields, and Turret Shields, back in Battlefront 2015. But now, for no reason aside from “oh it would unbalance the gameplay a bit”, the Vanguard (which is the Scatter Gun from BF 2015, except it can’t double fire), now can’t penetrate any Energy Shields. Same for the Stinger Pistol

No one asked you, Mixhael. No, Slug Throwers and “Slugs” are just SW lingo for Firearms and Bullets. Energy Shields can’t deflect tiny, extremely fast solid objects. Energy Shields can only deflect Plasma Bolts, and solid matter that is smaller than the shield and is moving fast (not as fast as a bullet, but faster than slowing rolling along). Bullets, shotgun shells, and Poison Darts are small enough to penetrate the energy Shields, but things like Grenades, Rocks, Lightsabers, etc, can be deflected.

I'm saying the portrayal of this battle -- blue colored hailfire droids, white Phase 2 clone troopers on the ground, 2 capital ships exchanging fire in atmosphere -- is completely counter to our understanding of the Second Battle of Geonosis. The battle droids in that battle were also a completely different design than the ones we see in this map. Rewatch the Clone Wars arc!

I've never seen the OT fans stand up against DICE's poor handling of canon material as the vocal Clone Wars fans did with the Mustard corps. Sure, there are some passionate OT fans like me who have complained, but there are very few of us from what I've noticed in the BF2 community.
OT Fans are the reason why George sold the SW rights to disney, leading to The Last Jedi. This makes them the ultimate enemy of everything good in Star Wars.

A lot of the stuff in this video doesn’t really break canon, just small continuity errors. 1. 327th Standard Soldiers had Pauldrons, yes, but that doesn’t mean different armor models depending on certain soldiers. I don’t think the large outrage from the CE fans was really justified as it’s a more smaller detail. 2. It has been stated in books that Sith Troopers are elite Troopers that guarded Kylo Ren, so this makes sense as to why they’re there. As to why they’re not elite because they got killed by former storm troopers? Rise of Skywalker’s shitty writing and obvious plot armor. 3. The Jump Trooper has been updated, so I’m not gonna comment on that other thing... 4. The Mos Eisley nit pick isn’t really much, as Storm Troopers did sometimes check normal civilians. They may not know that they’re rebels. 5. Again, that just seems like a nit pick for the Imperial Jet Trooper. Not something worthy on a list that “breaks” canon. Other models of certain armor could exist, and the details on his helmet are pretty small. I don’t think the OT fans need to have a full on rage over this small detail, or any of the details in this video. It’s mostly clickbait and overall very over dramatic, considering he’s made a whole video based on little details.
Not to mention the phase two armored AI running around on Kamino a geonosis during CS Also the 104th Wolfpack wasn't present during the battle of Kamino.
I think they went with the 104th because it kinda looks like the clone security we see in the clown wars episodes where 5's finds the chips in all the clones. That's the only reason I see them doing that

I mean, this is the game where Finn and Count Dooku can fight on Endor so it's not that big of a deal if a skin has a slight colour mistake or if a character is too tall. Still, it's ok to have small irks with the game. What matters is that you're respectful towards different people and their similar or differing opinions.

Yep. Actually the DC-15 Blasterrifle from the Clone Heavy (standard Weapon) should be named as DC-15A, but somehowe they called the DC-15S Carbine as DC-15A. And what about the DC-15LE? In the weapon info text is written, that this is the Main weapon of the Clone army, but it looks, without the mods, exactly like the DC-15(A!) standard clone heavy weapon, but larger.

But in Jedipedia/Wookiepedia the DC-15A looks different on the picture than the regular ones, from Episode II AOTC and SWTCW. That confuses me, because I just saw the version of the DC-15A from the Jedi-/wookiepedia picture just in Episode III ROTS in the battle of Kashyyyk, so I think this is actually the DC-15LE.

Slug Throwers (the Vanguard, and Stinger Pistol) no longer penetrate Energy Shields, such as the Specialist’s Bubble Shield, Droideka’s Bubble Shield, Iden’s Bubble Shield, Heavy’s Combat Shield, or the Squad Shield or Leia’s Squad Shield, despite them having gotten it right the first time, in Battlefront 2015.
Probably for balancing. And I thought that droideka shields were impenetrable to slug throwers because they had to slowly roll grenades under them
Wade Wilson Grenades aren’t the same as Slug Throwers.
Energy Shields can deflect fast moving solid objects, if they’re the right size. Which is why grenades and other solid objects like Rocks and small bits of matter like Lightsabers are deflected by shields.
But Slug-Throwers from the SW universe shoot actual bullets, which are supposed to be small enough, and fast enough, to penetrate the Energy Shields. The Cycler Rifle, the Scatter Gun, and the Stinger Pistol were all able to penetrate Bubble Shields, Squad Shields, and Turret Shields, back in Battlefront 2015.
But now, for no reason aside from “oh it would unbalance the gameplay a bit”, the Vanguard (which is the Scatter Gun from BF 2015, except it can’t double fire), now can’t penetrate any Energy Shields. Same for the Stinger Pistol

Energy Shields can’t deflect tiny, extremely fast solid objects. Energy Shields can only deflect Plasma Bolts, and solid matter that is smaller than the shield and is moving fast (not as fast as a bullet, but faster than slowing rolling along).
Bullets, shotgun shells, and Poison Darts are small enough to penetrate the energy Shields, but things like Grenades, Rocks, Lightsabers, etc, can be deflected.

A lot of the stuff in this video doesn’t really break canon, just small continuity errors.
1. 327th Standard Soldiers had Pauldrons, yes, but that doesn’t mean different armor models depending on certain soldiers. I don’t think the large outrage from the CE fans was really justified as it’s a more smaller detail.
2. It has been stated in books that Sith Troopers are elite Troopers that guarded Kylo Ren, so this makes sense as to why they’re there. As to why they’re not elite because they got killed by former storm troopers? Rise of Skywalker’s shitty writing and obvious plot armor.
3. The Jump Trooper has been updated, so I’m not gonna comment on that other thing...
4. The Mos Eisley nit pick isn’t really much, as Storm Troopers did sometimes check normal civilians. They may not know that they’re rebels.
5. Again, that just seems like a nit pick for the Imperial Jet Trooper. Not something worthy on a list that “breaks” canon. Other models of certain armor could exist, and the details on his helmet are pretty small. I don’t think the OT fans need to have a full on rage over this small detail, or any of the details in this video. It’s mostly clickbait and overall very over dramatic, considering he’s made a whole video based on little details.
Not to mention the phase two armored AI running around on Kamino a geonosis during CS Also the 104th Wolfpack wasn't present during the battle of Kamino.
I think they went with the 104th because it kinda looks like the clone security we see in the clown wars episodes where 5's finds the chips in all the clones. That's the only reason I see them doing that

And what about the DC-15LE? In the weapon info text is written, that this is the Main weapon of the Clone army, but it looks, without the mods, exactly like the DC-15(A!) standard clone heavy weapon, but larger.

But in Jedipedia/Wookiepedia the DC-15A looks different on the picture than the regular ones, from Episode II AOTC and SWTCW.
That confuses me, because I just saw the version of the DC-15A from the Jedi-/wookiepedia picture just in Episode III ROTS in the battle of Kashyyyk, so I think this is actually the DC-15LE.
