How to conceal dark circles and under eye bags

- Over the years I have suffered from dark circles and more so from puffy eyes so I wanted to show how I conceal them with makeup. Puffy eyes cannot be concealed 100 % but they can diminish by 50 %. Also sometimes I suffered from redness so I am showing my color correcting technique too. You need color correction only if your skin is discolored or hyper pigmented. Otherwise just a simple foundation and concealer routine is good enough. Remember Less is more!!

Thank you so much!! Once you reach a certain age (speaking of mine, not yours 😉), you can’t get rid of the puffy without surgery. This has really helped me understand how to make it look less prominent - unlike all the 20-somethings who show a completely manipulated photo as their after “proof.” Great, helpful, informative video!

You can apply refrigerated cucumber slices over eyes every morning as soon as ur up to drain access water, which will reduce the puffiness n brighten up the whites of eyes too x also, if u blend a touch of orange red creamy lipstick to the concealer it will brighten up the under eyes n make it more natural xx

Oh love this. This is real life situation which other tutorials dont have.my puffiness are just like yours and yeah i do get a lot of “u look tired. Get some sleep blah blah”. Its hereditary nothing i can do abt it. Will try this technique

Btw, the acnes on your face/chin are telling you to look after your gut health. Eye bags and acne prone skin are not hereditary, it's a mixed result of how each individual body functions (according to the predeposition of different blood types) AND lifestyle habits (toxins/chemical thru the food that we consume nowadays eg animal meat/dairy that's packed with hormone and antibiotics), countless types of vaccines.
Also, we've been educated by dermatologist and beauty industries NOT to be rough (touching exercising massaging etc) to our facial skin, which is opposite to the true need of skin to stay youthful and healthy.
Sun spots is yet another myth, my mom never wears sunscreen and she does NOT have any sun spots. It is what we constantly put into our body (food、drinks、drugs、stress) and on our skin (pore clogging substance) that decide how our skin reacts to the sunlight. I never used to wear sunscreen on my face even stsying outdoor, and when i did, boon ==> freckles appeared.

Sucha lovely video. It was so informative. Mam i m not a pro like buy i love doin makeup alot . I have acne scars but i m scared of using correctors. My scars have dark purple hue so i guess orange or peach corrector wud work. I m mac nc35. So instead of using correctotlr can i use a concealer of the shade matches my skin. So wat shade u wud recommend me in mac pro longwear concealer. Though i have mac prolongwear nw25...can i use that one instead of using mac prolong wear concealer in NC shade range

Dolly I won't be able to suggest a shade to you like this , for that you have to visit d mac store but yes NW concealer work best for NC girls because like you said u have purple tones so NW will warm up these cooler tones. And in case concealer is doing a fine job u don't need a corrector but why scared of a corrector..its no rocket science:) just apply it before putting a foundation but only if need be. Hope it helps..x

I have a small problem .
I have started using foundation from Crylon recently .I apply and spread it with my fingers and it is a amazing.
I am.wondering what will happen to the concealer applied under my puffy eyes when I apply the foundation later,as you have done in this video.I am.worried as I spread the foundation with my fingers .
Do you have any idea if I could apply Crylon with a sponge?
I have my doubts .
I have Mac products(the cmpact style foundation)
I invested a lot in Mac products but Crylon (rs200-rs300)gives way better result.Mentioned the price so that you get an idea what product I am.talking abouy

This is a setting and baking powder. It just locks in d products. Yes good for all skin types
I don't have dark circles but puffy eyes.
In that case,what do I use first;a concealer below the eyes( and then the lighter shade to hide the shadow below the bags)or the ligher shade to hide the shadow below the bags (and then the concealer below the eyes)

Did you apply foundation on the concealer (lighter shade)that you used under your eyes to hide the puffiness?
Or just around it?
Just for your information ,I won't be using a colour collector that you used at the start for the brownish area around the eyes
I used the foundation all over but veryyyy lightly around d eyes otherwise it will disturb the whole thing underneath
