I recently watched a documentary about The Rock-afire Explosion and was really blown away by the craftsmanship and capability of these critters.
It's called "Rocky Top" -- it was originally written by Boudleaux and Felice Bryant, and it's Tennessee's state song. Don't know why they were playing it at the Kentucky State Fair.

In the general scheme of things, these animatronics are in pretty okay shape compared to some of the Rockafire Explosion animatronics still in use. If they fix some hands and some eyes and they’d be in pretty good shape!
