I think there's something wrong with Fatz's head though. He moves fine and all but It seems like his head is stuck tilted to the right, even at the beginning when he's turned off. Has anyone ever noticed this?
The thing making RAE better is the writing. This little show is part of the Magic showtape. Back in 1986, I had the privilege to enjoy this in a real Showbiz.
These animatronics are so energetic it's fun to watch. Their placement really makes the stage come alive, I love it.........The only thing similar to this Chuck-E-Cheese needs to take a few notes.
I just like how articulated these animatronics were, with their joints have most needed movements. The only think missing was the mouth not being the most advanced thing, but they even had functioning hands on the uncle clunk
You got that right like I said in another comment Pasqually SUCKS at playing the drums he does it with as little effort as possible even a beginner drummer could do it better Duke realy puts on a show and is realy in sync with the movements to the tempo

The Rock afire Explosion is a really great animatronic show with put lot of hard work and love by creators like Aaron Fechter. It was actually called show biz pizza at the time! Show biz bought Chuck E. Cheese and they later merged as Chuck E. Cheese and turned these robots into Chuck E. Cheese ones!

I remember when I was at a friend's birthday party when I was 6, a couple kids dared me to stick my head under the curtain at Showbiz. Being as it was my first time going there, I had no idea what to expect. I finally worked up the courage and stuck my head under it and the sight of that huge creepy gorilla made me run out of the room screaming and fueled several months worth of nightmares. When I close my eyes and think about it I can still picture that gorilla staring maniacally off in the distance
Entertainment for us children growing up included this... animal robots shutting down female co-worker cheerleader, discussing cutting throats, and a song about touching a females dress, reaching out, grabbing people, & casting spells to achieve you every desire ... Gen X strong.
even though i love munch's make believe band, the rock-afire explosion's dialogue sounds less scripted, and like they are actually friends. on the other hand, cec's just sounds like a bunch of coworkers. its so scripted. one of the reasons i love the rock-afire so much.
