Just for your information the timeline is 20 years prior to the main timeline (the begining of bleach). So urahara was already about 80 years out of soul society
The foreshadowing is perfect here. If you guys go to the manga and see the first appearance of old man Zangetsu, you'll see the reason Ichigo couldn't listen to his name. Since the very beginning, 20 years ago, the hollow kept saying "I'M ZANGETSU!", and he was not lying at all.

When you go back at all the interactions between Zangetsu and Ichigo, you realized he never lied to him, always teached him something about himself and saved him many time...Both of them...That really changed the whole dynamic of those conversations ! Now the two of them will work with Ichigo, his dual Zanpakuto and full power unleashed !!

Also if you remember, tensa zangetsu(young ywach) actually fused with vasta lorde white ichigo that fight THAN fought ichigo, meaning that was actually ALL OF ICHIGO'S power quincy+hollow+shinigami, thats why mugetsu form is so strong, he used up all his power for a single attack and lost his powers
LOVE the theory about Yachiru Kusajishi (his lieutenant).
I don't remember in which episode it was said,(I think it's at the 1st season), but the manifestation of zanpakutu is supposed to look like the shinigami who wields it, whether in appearence or character. That's why Zangetsu is White Itchigo and looks like him...
It's also why the Muramasa Arc manifestations had at least some resemblance to their wielders (save Mayuri's, due to the excessive modifications)

Urahara and Aizen are actually much closer than you know. Kubo initially had Urahara as the villain, and Aizen dead in the first arc (his death wasn't fake, and he was actually just a good guy), but he liked the character too much and so he changed Aizen into a stronger, but less intelligent and morally bankrupt version of Urahara. He then took the planned roles of Urahara, Yoroichi, Tessai and the vizards and replaced them in the story with Aizen, Tousen, Gin and the arrancar.

Well technically if you pay attention to most of Urahara's dialogue he has already invented a shit ton of things, back in Pendulum he had already surmised that Aizen was doing Hollowfication experiments which means Urahara had already done them, they creation lf the Hogyoku especially Urahara's is a mystery, Aizen used numerous souls to create his and even stole the Soul King's nail from Rangiku's soul which is what set Gin on his path to deceive Aizen. Then artificial soul and gigai Urahara is basically the lead in that and later in the novels he had already surpassed Mayuri in every way but chose to keep it a secret. He was also the first person to successfully achieve balance between soul reaper and Shinigami as Aizen back in Pendulum called Shinji and the other Vizards as failures, only for him in everything but the rain decided to retrieve them again which shows how leagues behind he is from Kisuke as a scientist. Notice how whenever Kisuke is mentioned there is a sense of narcissism in Aizen that he uses to bolster his ego in lrder to compensate his inferiority when he compares himself to Kisuke. If anything Kisuke had been fixing and mending everything Aizen fucks up, even when it comes to the noble family and central 46 in the novels we're basically realizing that Kisuke even had a plan against them and their influence but chose not to and for a good reason as we see corruption lies everywhere. In the end he managed to succeed as a little assassin was coincidentally able to find her way to kill the little devil.
In the manga we are told only zero squad is allowed inside the palace premises yet Tenjiro tells us Kisuke was able to analyze his bath waters in order to create his own version, in the houhouden we basically get a parallel version of when Ichigo was first trained by Kisuke back when he tried to unleash his shinigami powers for the first time, in fact you can say it's near one to one; Back then we couldn't hear his name only for now to basically affirm his identity to us.
There's a shit ton to decipher when it comes to Urahara. Every move he made also counteracted Aizen's for example fake Karakura town was something even Aizen was surprised was built and at this point we understand now why; it's basically just stalling for Ichigo, if anything Ichigo was always the trump card Kisuke used to avert the disaster.
Kisuke's use of Artificial souls also parallels that of Hikifune to an extent, then theres his ideology where it even sounds similar to that of Ichibe's.
Kisuke is a mystery in of himself, his connection to Yoruichi and the nobles just as much. He and Aizen are the only two Shinigami outside of Zero squad that were able to see the Soul King prior to the invasion.
@@Xeno_Solarus Aizen admits that Urahara is the one person whose intellect surpasses his own during their fight in the war. Given how arrogant he is, I don't think that this is something that he's going to be lying about.
@@yamatonoryuujin4871 Personally, I think that Urahara is the son of Senjumaru and grew up in the palace prior to being fostered by the Shihoin. Here are the reasons:
1) She is another genius, probably between Aizen and Mayuri in terms of intelligence, both have thread-based abilities and create body doubles, and his bankai resembles her. If he spent his early years in the palace, it would explain how he saw the Soul King, his familiarity with the hot springs, and potentially part of his personality. He has a lot of quirks that parallel Nimaya's (eg. a goofy and laid back personality, covering a lot of seriousness, creating synthetic assistants, the shattered shaft vs the asauchi pit, having Ichigo put on the headband vs the joke bow, etc.) and it could be that he picked them up from Nimaya himself.
2) When the Zero Squad come down, Senjumaru suggests that Mayuri's security at the labs is worse than before he was in change, which indicates that she visited Urahara there when he was in charge, thus they have some connection. Similarly, when Urahara is on the projector in front of the Zero Squad and captains, he says that it's good to see everybody again, which could mean the captains we know he is familiar with, or both them and the Zero Squad.
3) This would explain why the Shihoin, a pretty traditional royal clan, would foster a kid who isn't a member of even minor royalty, and let him spend his teenage years hanging out with their heir. He clearly has some serious family history for them to allow that, and the only two things I can think of there are what I have detailed, or his clan being a main family or branch of the unnamed royal house that deals with Hell.

[Tidbits & Clarifications] [Get ready for a mini Book, lol (For those interested in particular details)].
- This episode is so important because it effectively finishes off Ichigo's character development. As we all know the Zanpaktou is representative of a Characters self progression and Here Ichigo finally gets a Completed Zanpaktou. Both parts of Zangetsu finally accept Ichigo because Ichigo finally accepts and loves himself, Which is something he couldn't do given his trauma .
- That last bit about Yhwach being responsible for Masaki's death is also important because as I stated on several occasions Ichigo still carries that trauma, he still blamed himself for his mother's death, He couldn't accept himself because he was the cause of his greatest failure, and now he has a true target to point his blade towards .
-Throughout the entire show Ichigo's Quincy power never said he was Zangetsu, in fact, the first & only time that part of Ichigo's soul spoke its name, we could not hear it. More important is that if you go back through the story "White" always told us that he is Zangetsu. Think about the entire SS arc, it was actually White that kept saving Ichigo. Kubo loves writing in this fashion where he blends Metaphors and Foreshadowing to make the viewers that pay attention cling to a false understanding.
- Some still question "Then how did Ichigo have a Zanpaktou all this time". The hollow "White" was made from Shinigami Souls, so practically Ichigo had something akin to an Asauchi, yet made with a hollow as a base. This is also why whenever he got stronger as a Shinigami, His hollow powers did as well because his Shinigami and Hollow Powers are one.
- It's really cool how Kubo uses Ichigo being a mixed breed to show that he has Quincy Powers, we can assume that this Young Ywach looking being existed in all Quincy, but unlike Ichigo, Quincies can't visit their inner soul...only Shinigami can, so Ichigo would be the only one in existence able of experiencing this.
-This part of Ichigo that looks like Young Ywach seems to carry Quincy intent, yet also seeks to protect Ichigo. I always found it fascinating because this Quincy part of him believed becoming a Shinigami = Conflict and suffering so he actively tried to keep that from happening. I still wonder if maybe this belief comes from Ywach himself.
- The special Gigai Urahara used with Isshin was the same kind Urahara used in an attempt to secretly turn Rukia Human.
- The long Blade is representative of his Shinigami & Hollow powers and the short blade is his Quincy powers.
- Bleach blends Buddhist themes and Christian themes when crafting its lore. Buddhism has a concept known as Samsara and within that concept, you have something known as 6 Paths, 3 of them are virtuous paths and the other 3 are unbenelovent paths...One of those "bad" paths is the Animal path, which plays into Komamura's clan being beast.
Really enjoyed your reactions guys. These 2 episodes are awesome. Perfect placement of Zangetsu reveal just after backstory cause Ichigo can finally embrace his heritage he got from his parents (especially his mother) including the hollow.

Understated how uryu's mom and ichigo's mom died cuz of the Quincy King and peeps still think uryu doesn't have ulterior motives for doing what he does..

lol Rukia's powers weren't drained by some special ability of Ichigo's. It's just that his soul reaper powers were awakened because of Rukia, and because he was stronger than anticipated it had the adverse effect of weakening Rukia.
I think I read somewhere they said it was also his Quincy blood draining all her power not sure if there's any truth to it but what you said makes a lot of sense by itself.
This. His "borrowed" powers were even severed and he had to discover "his own" powers to avoid being a hollow. This is all laid out clear as day and this 2 clowns didn't even understand the setup from season 1.

Bleach is about Aizen vs Urahara
Seems like Yamamoto Flamez Ichigo used since he died, I guess a variation of that power word work
His soul reaper power is his with urahara and his father, and those two sword are Quincy And Hollow.
It's been a while since a read the manga...but i don't remember that the whole Auswählen was reveal here ! That is the major explanation on why as powerful Masaki was, she could be defeated by a simple Adjuchas. More reason for Ichigo to hate Yhwach Bach now...and for Uryu as well...

And this is actually another reason Ichigo and Ishida are so special. That is explained later on but if you a ask the right question here you can make out what makes those two special.
Adjucha? That hollow was not a adjucha that was a normal hollow even weaker then a gillian.
@@plantcrone9662 To be perfectly honest, I know Grand Fisher is not confirmed to be Adjucha. But I also see possibilities that he is. Thing is, it is quite hard to tell Adjucha from ordinal hollows. And honestly he put much tenser fight then Menos.
