I'm so impressed! Let's build a massive mall when malls are failing all over the country. Let's fix the homeless problem by buying up all the property near downtown and moving them out. Now GAs can stroll from the great and spacious office building to the great and spacious mall and never see a homeless person! Problem solved! Good thing they have billions around to do such works of charity!
I say that they open up all of their 170 temples worldwide to shelter the homeless people and give $ 1,000,000.00 cash to each homeless person. Greedy Mormon cult church
When you have millions of people coughing up 10% of their incomes without asking any questions whatsoever, you can have a lot of leverage and influence. And all the "last days" stuff has been considered imminent since the the beginning of the Church, and in fact since the beginning of Christianity.
For those pushing to get your tithing back, if you took an itemized deduction in your taxes i and others will push the IRS to go after you for back taxes.
If he gave the money to the church which is good but missed leading in making a mall and take money back i would actual force the church to show me what charity ita going and call the place that your sending momey to call them to make sure if the charity has the money and aee if the chairty has it to make sure if they have it instead of the church miss leading of where the money is doing and yeah i agree with what james is wanting to do
It’s like the parable of the Talents. Tithe-payers give the church money. If the church just puts it away, then it doesn’t grow. But with it being invested, it does grow and becomes much more. Matthew 25:21 His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord. This is said to the man who received 5 talents and worked to grow it to 10 talents. Matthew 25: 30 And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. This was said to the man who didn’t do anything with his talents. So, the church takes the talents that is given to it, and multiplies them.
Except in the parable of the talents eventually the talents are put to some good use. Building malls and bailing out a insurance company might be “good investments” but at what point will the Church engage more in help for the poor and suffering?

First of all I thought the church was a “nonprofit” organization? And second, “Reserves” seems to be a common name the church uses as THEIR “land management” company here in La’ie Hawaii is named Hawaii Reserves Inc.” or commonly known around here as HRI! And ALL they do is find ways to claim ownership of Hawaiian lands that many families are not aware that they have and they, HRI, somehow manipulates the situation to where THEY gain ownership of these lands that were SUPPOSED TO BE handed down through the generations. Here is a great example of how the Hawaiian people are treated! Thanks to the late Kupuna Dawn Wasson Aloha 🌺 ruclips.net/video/G-bRoHbtZ2M/видео.html ruclips.net/video/ImRfEYTP_3g/видео.html
HRI Been trynna get they hands on that malaekahana land between Laie & Kahuku for a long time under the guise of “affordable housing” When I first went to BYUH I was always amazed how the GAs and brethren would always come to visit Laie it seemed like every month or two someone important from the church would visit. During my time there I made good freinds with locals from Laie Kahuku Hauula and quickly realized how divided the community was over these issues. I’ve spoke with many faithful members about the topic (including previous bishops in laie) almost all of them don’t trust HRI simply because they have a history of being dishonest and non transparent with the community but yet it’s nearly impossible for people to speak up because most people in Laie Haula and Kahuku are employed by the church and are in fear of losing their jobs. Looking back now it makes sense why someone from church headquarters frequents Laie the church is closely monitoring their “assets” and trying to acquire more.
@@jamestrek2570 I’m glad that there are people like yourself who see the truth of the church and their influence in and around the communities as you mentioned. Most often will defend the church regardless of knowing the truth let alone investigate the information from all sides before making their conclusions. Aloha 🌺

So they did not use the money the way they said they would? Like the church? Red cross? Hell of a lot better than LDS spent your tithes at $300,000. For one sex abused girl? Who sued her father for more. Really? Very few abused reported LDS children or scouts got a dime. Your post is ridiculous..

Are you on Crack? I was in Salt Lake a few months ago and saw homeless very close to temple Square.
As a former tithe-payer to this so-called church, this is all infuriating. Thank you for this report.
If you get infuriated over allegations I feel sorry for you.
@phillipcook3430 , it's so much more than these allegations, though. So much more. Thanks for your compassion, though, if your coment is sincere.
I wish I could get MY money back ☠️
I DO TOO! It makes me so sick!

Very pleased with the fi ancial administration of the Church. THANK YOU LORD.

Jesus is going to be very rich, when He returns to claim all that belongs to Him- which is everything on this Earth ;)

Buyer beware. Huntsman bought a loser. His choice.
When you have hundreds of billions of dollars, you can buy a lot of high-priced legal representation, and a lot of political influence as well.
I gave some money to the Red Cross. I wonder if I can get a refund?

The church feeds their members in need. Look like alot more of us are going to be in need. Thank you God for Deseret Industries.
bull
I thoughtJesus said look out for the poor among you not members only!
Walmart and dollar tree is cheaper than Deseret Industries. They are just ripping off the poor.
