Awesome video as usual. You can almost feel fall in the air here also. Days getting shorter and certainly makes one think of hunting season. Recently bought a recurve and having a blast shooting it. That book you speak of sounds like a good read. Congrats on all the fish, real beauties Have a great week. Mark PS. Maybe next June I will see you on the canal. LOL
What kind of recurve,Mark? I shoot BEAR KODIAK 55#s, my whole life,,love me, the Bear bows, by the time I'm ready to hunt, I've worked up to 60#, but stick with the 55s,,,and with those, I'm good out to 30 yds, apple sized groups,,,im STRICTLY instinctive barebow,,,off the shelf, shooter, so you don't have to worry about pins, and contraptions, In the low light, where, most of the killing happens,,,gonna do a few vids, on arrow fletching, this year,,LOVE, to work on the gear, building arrows from scratch, etc,,,ive got some really great fletching gear,,,satisfying,,seeing your arrows go Lazer straight, that you built,I,use a high quality Blitzenbierger, German fletcher, and a Bohning fletching setup,,,,perfect arrow machines, you can even do helical with them,,,super super cool fun,,,I think it'll make an interesting vid, for stick and string guys, like us,,,,big fun!!😎
@@trailbossx2 Thats awesome buddy, and was partly the reason why I wanted to email you. So far I am really enjoying it. I have a PSE Night Hawk. 62”, 40lbs. Shooting off the shelf, it’s great fun and hope to hunt with a recurve someday.
Good video.I was up there last week on mainland side and fished a few mornings throwing lures near Sagamore bridge mainly. No bites at all.Saw a few fish caught but not much action at all and few fisherman for the most part. One seal on Friday came by.I should have tried chunking I guess.🎣Got my deer tags for where I live also.
Depends on how hard the tides, are pulling ,but generally 3 oz,,on the spinning gear, and 5 oz on the conventional reel, and go up an oz or 2, if its a hard moon tide,,,generally 3 spinning, 5 conventional,,,,thanks for watching!!😎
