- Used @CaptainSellers build and slightly modified it. Huge appreciation to his video for showing the limit siphon method.
Cloud: sleek Saber (Attack power+20, ATB Charge x2, weapon ability ATB), Certran bracer, Enhanced Karmic Cowl.
Weapon- Magnify Healing, subversion, Hp up, Mp up, and a choice of prayer, Chakra or Luck materia.
Armour-Elemental fire and ice, Vitality up, Speed up, Steadfast Block, First strike, Enemy Skill.
Tifa: Kaiser Knuckles (SynergyDamage up, Enhanced magic guard, Max HP, Concentration) Cerran Armlet, Enhanced Expeditionary Medal.
Weapon- Magnify Healing, Revival Materia, Hp up, Mp up, Strength up.
Armour- elemental Fire, Luck up, Skill Master, ATB stagger, ATB assist, First strike, Limit Siphon.
Barret: Battle Cry (ATB Charge rate up, Opening ATB, Limit Gauge Charge, Attack power +20) Valyrian Bangle, Limit Booster.
Weapon- Magnify Barrier, Revival, PrecisionDefence, ATB Stagger, Steadfast block, (And make sure to have Summon Gilgamesh on Barret, for the others its your preference)
Armour- Elemental fire, Hp up, mp up, Luck up, Spirit up.
Not all my materia is max level, would be even easier with a maxed Magnify paired with Barrier.
I use Tifa in all my videos because she the best for raising stagger and dishing out high damage during the whole stagger process.
If you apply this build to anything in the game it becomes an easier platinum than Remake.
Need to try the solo challenges now but that will be made a piece of cake due to the Götterdämmerung.

It is nice. Only reason why ppl use Yuffie aerith is because it's faster to get through the bosses. Nobody wants to get to Sephiroth and have to start all over. These battles can be rnged AF. Especially Gilgamesh.
I FINALLY BEAT Virtual Sephiroth! I used Cloud, Barrett, & Tifa. All I needed to do was have Barrett cast Barrier-All twice & I was able survive Virtual Sephiroth’s Octaslash each time. It was awesome.
My final attack was EPIC!!!
Cloud’s Limit Break Ascension occurred right after Sephiroth’s Limit Break cutscene for Octaslash. The game let Cloud first & & I won! 😂
I never parried Sephiroth’s Shadowy Chains once.
1. Barrett cast Barrier-All 2x.
2. Tifa’s armor: Cetran Armlet
3. Tifa: Tranference Module
4. Cloud: Limit Booster
5. Cloud cast Regan-all at the beginning of each battle.
6. Tifa cast Haste-all at the beginning of each battle.
It only took me 30hrs 😂 I couldn’t beat Sephiroth’s Shadow Chains & I kept having stupid deaths to Alexander, Odin, & Gilgamesh.
Honestly, Virtual Sephiroth is just cheap. Can’t even call it hard anymore. I’m beginning to think Sekiro is easier.

After seeing you use Barrier. I decided to have Barrett incorporate it. Which forced me to become more proficient without using magic to save it for final battle w/ Sephiroth.

Is there a reason you don’t lock on the camera to either of them?
Been awhile since i played but I believe i didn’t feel the need. Plus I played with not the default camera settings (just the basic RUclips recommended camera settings)
@@AG2Game Just curious! It’s like the first thing I do in every battle, otherwise I have to worry about moving the camera around manually. It’s just an extra thing my brain needs to do. I wasn’t sure if there was some kind of benefit to you for not doing that. Great work, btw!

You get it from one of the Brutal/Legendary Simulation Challenges brother. Beat Gilgamesh first before you can get the final Magnify Materia

How did you beat the summons with this setup? Odin wipes me out. I can beat him easy my way but there's obviously a reason your setup is this way. What is it
I haven’t played in awhile. But the main reason for Barrett is so he can tank alot and dish out good amounts of damage and his focus shot was great for staggering.
You wanna just rush odin with your ATBs while trying your best to avoid attacks, parry, and switch between characters.
Once you get the hang of odin he’s one of the easier fights, IMO.
You can also use the original Barrett build’s creator’s video, whose channel I have linked in the description to watch how he fights Odin if it helps.

Show the other fights. How to Beat bahamut and Titan
I did try but I don’t use a capture card. And the PlayStation is the last 30 mins or entire session. But it’s basically the same kinda of strategy and way easier than gilgamesh or sephiroth
@@AG2Game i Cant Beat sephiroth. Do you have some tips?
The person you give magnify barrier with make sure they have enough mp for the fight, cast it during around the first minute into the fight.
Once two party members are caught you could potentially run and dodge around until Sephiroth uses his limit break. Just before it connects heal the party so most the damage is instantly healed.
Use your synergy attacks when you can. And try utilise the space

Watch the section in my video where two of my party gets caught and see if you can replicate my movements.
Hard fight, but after platin, "star ocean the last hope" this is just, well, hard but doable

😂 This is how I would fight it. I prefer the OG FF7’s style of fighting. Not the ATB Ward & Arcane Ward method.

No offense but it seems like you kinda just ate shit the entire gilgamesh fight until he got staggered.
Same with Sephiroth. Just perfect parry his shadowy chains and he staggers really quick, he also keeps using it alot. One stagger is enough to kill him.
In general just having tifa with her purple fist buff hit anything regularly will stagger them quick.
This just seems like alot of work and clicking.
This is a guide to make it easier. So the average player can get through it. The average player isn’t staying alive and avoiding/parrying everyhit. Even people that have posted videos with crazier builds still run Revival because some of the stuff the game dishes out is unavoidable.
@@AG2Game i run revival, fixing mistakes in chainfights is very important. I totaly get your point. But it feels weird to call something "easy-ish" even, when some of the mechanics are left unexplained. Honestly teaching people about perfect parry against shadowy chain seems just as usefull as a full "eat damage build". Or just telling people that gilgamesh leaves himself wide open during elemental attacks(wind and water for instance), or even " dodge through during his targeted jump attacks". Just... if you do another vid like this you could include mechanical solutions as well.
@@Knlght0fZero I appreciate the advice, I would have to learn the parries myself but don’t see myself going back to this fight. At least for awhile anyway. Besides even then I haven’t got the setup yet to do commentary, let alone a capture card. So hopefully another person can make a post. Because tbh since it’s early in the games lifespan players are just looking for a way to get the platinum or this challenge out the way. Hopefully this build can help towards that.

@@dougfolis hmmm unfettered fist? Unfettered rage? Its one of her weapon skills. Probably the fastest way to stagger enemys. Get one buff of unbridled strength, then use unfettered ... something, then hit the enemy until he's about 80% staggered, then hit him with your triangle attacks. Then do what tifa does best and use unbridled strength into triangle on repeat for max damage. Have ur allies use their strongest skills while you do that.
