Elemental with Lightning makes this even easier, since Yin and Yang and Quetzalcoatl lose half of their movesets as you go to town.
No need to with the setup I used, and can’t fit the extra materia. But in general it’s gonna make it a lot easier to negate all that Lightning damage

Dude, the White Mousse battle was the hardest for me. I thought I was clever when I used Thundara on both of them while I had Elemental-Lightning on my armor. Then you come through with an even better strategy: "what if they were DEAD?"
You make Aerith fight like how I assume lore-accurate Returned-to-the-Planet Aerith fights; straight-up Goddess. Amazing work, man.

Amazing!! Did changed a bit the materia loadout as I have not yet completed hard mode and missing some weapon scriptures, thanks, helped me a Lot!
This strategy helped me all the way through! Only thing I changed was the elemental from ice to lightning and it worked perfectly :) thank you!

man i cannot get the final round to go smoothly at all.can't get both wards down before he charges. most frustrating fight so far. i hate playing as aerith solo. but still thanks for the videos! they've helped me clear Cloud, Barret and Tifa's challenges so far!
Yep if he charges right away this wont work very well. If he uses fulmen it does, but you have to be very quick in the setup.
I had another plan for when he starts with prey, but I can’t remember what it was now
@@2052brad dammit after i left this comment i had a really good run where i tried to ward shift to avoid him and it mostly worked, had him down to 15% hp but at the end i wasn't fast enough and he KO'd me.

@@alfredhigglestein2828 if you want to cheese it even more you can use the infinite atb ward trick with yuffie and spam quaga on arcade ward; that's how I did it

Getting yang figured out was chalanging. Never could kill him with 1 Fireaga, had to use 2, little detail with turning off magnify helped tho

Am I mistaken or did the stagger meter also stop depleting when you cast Stop in the final battle?
it always does. that's how you extend stagger long enough to build up big stagger bonuses and maximize damage.

Can anyone teach me Aerith’s Tempest ability? I never understood it even after reading up about that and the fleeting familiars, so naturally I never utilized it
Yeah, I was pretty confused at first too. You just use the ability once to activate it, and then you can either use it again right away for level 1, or wait until the gauge that appears in Aerith’s status bar to fill up to use level 2
About how long does it take you to do these runs? The most impeccable and mastery of combat of FFVII I’ve seen
Most of them took me a few hours of trial and error and theorycrafting to figure out how I wanted to approach all the fights

She just moves quicker once you’re in the Radiant Ward. It would be nice if she could dodge like this all of the time, but they designed the game where she moves much quicker in Radiant Ward.
how's your atb didn't decrease when you use stop in stage 2?
It did. From 2 to 1

I didn’t. I used magic while in a radiant ward so it dealt 0
I answered this in another comment, but here's what I said for this issue:
Time your dodges when he does Prey/charge. I did it after 3 runs and noticed as he pounces for Prey that's the trigger to dodge. It got a bit messy at the end as I actually ran out of mana but got it with Soul drain and recasting Blizzara. Good luck!
