- Bought mine for 179.99 with a 20$ coupon. Minimum Height for me was right at 4'' and max lift was 23-3/8'' thats exactly one 1/4'' higher than spec on min and max height. Not a problem for me. this is a very stout jack and i can definitely see it lasting for a long time.
heres a link to harbor freight:

I watched your video and went to Harbor Freight. They had one for sale, that had been returned. It was marked $159.99 and I talked them into selling it for half that (no box, no paperwork) $79.50. Total was $85.86 with tax. This thing is 104lbs and a beast. It jacked up the F250 diesel like a Nissan Sentra. Thanks for posting.
scott FREE DAMN that’s a badass price! And the good thing is if you need to exchange it for whatever reason you’ll most likely end up with a brand new one!! Best price I ever heard of for this jack.
I didn't even know this jack existed until 9am this morning. I read the bad reviews; on jacks at Autozone, and started shopping online reviews. Your video popped up and the rest is history. By the way, great video. It was so cool to hear the sounds of summer in the background, during this coldass winter.
You Stole it! 😎
sounds like a great neighborhood. love the background sounds. thanks for the vid
Thanks for putting this together... really solidified my decision. I'm heading to Harbor Freight in the morning!
Get me one also!
I just bought this jack at my local HF and they even gave me 20% off the $199 price. The jack looks very well made.
Thanks for measuring the height of the jack frame, that what was I looking for
My brother had one of those small Jack's. It kept leaking off on him. It would drop down over time. He was working on my truck. I seen it was dangerous. So I went to Sears and bought him a heavy duty full size Jack. It lifts my my 1990 Ford F-150 with ease. It was on sale for one hundred dollars. This was ten years ago. My brother still uses it. It works great. I would recommend that you cut up that small Jack. Before someone gets hurt with it. Those small Jack's should be forced off the market. Good video thanks for sharing. Make a new video after you use the new Jack forty or fifty times. I would like to see it. Thanks for sharing your video.
snap on and craftsman are made in same factory...apparently so are Daytona and snap on as well
I love watching video content. Thank you so much!
YA I got this jack, it rocks. Great for vehicles that are higher off the ground.
I love mine dude, harbor freight has my attention!
I love the Crown Vic police cruiser.
lerch25 You and me both man, it's a tank.
Thanks for the video, I think everyone should own a good jack and I'm considering buying this one as my first jack. This review helped me! Trying to do some odd jobs on my days off and helping the wife with oil changes
Armando Teran Thanks for watching, i use it for the same little jobs on my vehicles. It’s been about a year and a half since I got it and it’s never let me down.
by the looks of it i think id prefer the 3 ton rapid pump over this one. itll lift much quicker comparing to your video. this one has a nice lift height but 18 inches on the rapid pump should work just fine for me when it comes to floor jacks.
nice 3 ton super duty steel jack daytona
How's the Yellow Super Duty Jack doin?
We just bought one from Harbor Freight. Hub is not here and even following printed directions, clearly written, it will not raise up the way you just raised yours. I think we have a lemon......thanks for this demo.
You have to Bleed it!
snap on is suing harbor freights for this jack so they may stop selling it but i bought mine today, check it out the snap on fj200 is exactly the same just different color and 300$ more expensive
TrollingSince1991 Are you serious? Well I can see why it's almost carbon copy. This jack is awesome, hope harbor freight keeps on selling them.
Roberson Merriweather + Your 100% right about clones. the same compant in China that built my craftsman bench top drill press also makes them for harbor freight. Craftsman has a black top and was $174.00. Harbor freight has an orange top, slightly different operating handles, And was on sale for $39.99. Even the same decal showing the speed/belt setting. was too late to return it to sears or I would have.
case was dismissed, there is a video about it on youtube turns out there are 12 different Jacks by 12 different manufacturers/importers/sellers that are virtually identical
Almost identical on the outside, not inside. Only an O-ring on the main ram in this Daytona not a real hydraulic U-cup seal so like most china jacks are made to do it will be tossed behind the barn in no time. If HF stops selling them before warranty ends its exchanges then even sooner.
***** According to the video I watched Snap on only has a design patent on the look of the jack, not a functional patent. Also, I would think that patent is in jeopardy, usually if it can't be defended in court it is a short step to invalidation.
I talked to my snap on dealer today about it. He couldn't talk his way out it this time....
Nice video. Thanks. Hope to get one before they stop selling it.
LARRY HIDALGO Yeah it's a sweet jack hope they don't stop selling it, thanks for watching
Four screws hold the cover plate in place. The screw is hex, not Phillips. What hex size is it?Thanks.
Damn I want this jack.
Whats funny is i use the same jack and jackstands. Couldnt tell you how much that jacks pissed me off. Time for a decent jack like this one, especially when i do my lift... and taller jackstands for my silverado. Im not a fat boy nore am I a skiny one. But damn tired of sqeezing between the rear tire behind the cab mount to get under thanks to those damn side steps. But they are not going as how nice it is to get in the truck.
Course before all that i need to learn to walk again on a knee and rod bone replacment...
I'm deciding between this "Daytona" from HF (1 year warranty) or the "Yellow Jacket" from Northern tools (4 year warranty). Same price. Problem these days now is that most floor jacks are not serviceable sine there are not o-ring kits available to be fixed by the DIY (even tough most small & medium size ones are mostly identical among different brands.
Leopoldo Enriquez honestly if I had to do it all over again I'd rather go with the Northern tool jack just because it's not harbor freight and have had it on sale at 169.99. Regardless I have had this Daytona jack since the making of this video and I have used it for oil changes, suspension work and maintenance on most of my cars and I am absolutely happy and could not complain anything about it (other than weight). Best cheapest jack along with the yellow jacket in my opinion
Leopoldo Enriquez I was also shopping around and was lookin into northern tools floor jack but seen some bad reviews as for the daytona I didn’t find 1 single bad review and it comes with a 3year warranty not 1 which is why I ended up with the Daytona so far so good I’ve only have had it for a week though but man is she a beast lifts up everything with ease I did get the northern tool double lock jack stands just for the extra safety
just bought one today.. for $174.. man this jack heavy.......

100 lbs
I think I just saw my local harbor freight carrying it. haven't been there since blk Friday. looks nice for low pro.
menger Vaj The Harbor Freight I bought it from still have plenty, a co-worker just bought one last week.
I had this Jack for a month and used it about 3 times. On the 4th time I tried to lift my friend's truck you had to have the handle all the way to the ground and it would move slightly. I don't know if there is air trapped somewhere and if I have to try to bleed it somehow but it's pretty frustrating that this is happening with such little use. I might end up just taking it back
I’m not saying it needs to be bled but in the manual it says to bleed it before using, I bled it even though it was lifting up. Use this link to for the Manual to see how to bleed. If it doesn’t fix it take that thing back for a new one. Mine is 14 months old and still good as new
manuals.harborfreight.com/manuals/63000-63999/63183.pdf
Thanks a lot man, I will check that out. I still have the receipt so I might just take it back then start fresh doing it right. I feel stupid for not even reading the manual first but this is my first jack I ever bought so I assumed it was ready to go out of the box. Thanks again man!
Hey Nuke did what was the outcome? Did it work?
always read manuals. dont be lazy
Great video how's your jack holding up, what's the weight on this jack?
So far so good I haven't had any problems and don't expect any. It's right around 100lbs.
104 lbs.
That looks badass!!
How's it holding up if you still own it? I plan on purchasing ...
Periko Tee I do still own it, has held up to the abuse I have given it(not a ton) and has not let me down. If I had to do it all over again I would still buy it again but from Northern Tool instead because it’s 10$ cheaper with coupon at $169.99
Thanks, appreciate it the response. I'm going for one.
@@RFHX2_6.0 Don't forget about the shipping charge. According to their website, it would cost $67 to ship it to where I live in San Diego County, CA. And if you ever need them to repair it you have to ship it back, probably at your own expense.
@@RFHX2_6.0 Which Jack are you talking about at Northern Tool?
i bought this jack... it is much better than the other jacks that they have at harbor freight.... but its not rapid pump or quick rise... Northern tools has quick rise 3 ton jacks for cheaper.... it's 5 pumps with no load... and 30 pumps with a load, lol
Assuming you followes directions for bleeding air out? Definitely rapid pump
Nice video. Thanks for posting. Where is this jack made?
China
GMP: It's made in China.
This does not fit under a PT cruiser BTW. GOOD JACK THO
Ur old jack is a trolley. Mini jack.
Do you still have this, how has it held up
I still do, I don’t use it everyday but when I need it it’s there and does exactly what I need it to do. I have seen them at a few tire shops around and these jacks are the ones I see used most.
Why do you have a clone cop car with that light bar? Do you know how to pit-maneuver someone?
andres aguilera Because I can, and yeah.
How were you able to use a HF coupon with a Floor Jack? I thought all their coupons excluded floor jacks.
Larr Yeah you're right, I get the Harbor Freight booklet that's half full of coupons every now and then and they had a 20$(not 20% off) coupon for the jack. There's also coupons for the Earthquake brand impact wrenches and Diablo brand air hoses all which cant be bought with a 20% off coupon.
Ok thanks, I found it - i1.wp.com/struggleville.net/wp-content/uploads/2016/10/IMG_20161005_0012.jpg
the car in the background is that the chrisfix policecar?
cliff maddelein Nah it was mine, I actually sold it not to long ago.
RFHX2_6.0 ok. I thought it was that car. You know chrisfix? He build exact the same car.
cliff maddelein yeah I’m subscribed to him I haven’t got to his Interceptor videos yet.
does the rubber piece on the pad comes off?
George Abdo No I think it's glued on there
Yes, it can peel off just in case you were still pondering 2 yrs later.
snap on suing harbor freight, snap on should be ashamed ,there just helping them sell more tools,I would love to see mercedes sue hyundai, well it's got 4 tires and a steering wheel, lol
Snap On dropped the legal action, when it was disclosed that both jacks were being made at the same factory in China.
$99 on Ebay-no tax, no shipping. You guys got ripped!
Ya sure ya did pal
Parking brakes and park gear fail! Use wheel chokes!! I've seen it happen. Don't let a car roll back.
Frederick Santiago Yeah I've heard that, that's why I didn't keep it raised for too long I do have good chalks when I do actual work on the car on level surface. I had to show the you and the people how well it raised for better video, just a spur of the moment
Frederick Santiago there is no such thing as a park gear. It's a shift detent to prevent it from moving.
nice
Horrible video
Joe Framer Man I sure do love it when people talk shit when they can’t even back it up. I was gona watch your videos so could learn not to make horrible videos but you don’t even have any. According to the thumbs up I’ve gotten it doesn’t seem like it’s that horrible, thanks for watching.
Good video bro, I just got a 4 ton...disregard ppl that talk shit but dont have a video helping or informing others
