SHINee literally kill me with their live performances. I get so pumped up when I see this performance, and now knowing the lyrics, I'm just left in awe. After being away from their fans for so long, they come back with this gem of an album and this song "decorating the first chapter." Jonghyun outdid himself with the lyrics. SHINee outdid themselves with this performance. I can't imagine any other band making me as happy as they do to me.
using spoiler as the opening for the concert is simply a genius move. not only does it list all the songs that will be performed but the "it's too early to be surprised, are you ready to clap for SHINee" sets the vibe so well for the concert. i am absolutely sure that jonghyun wrote this purposely as the intro of the misconceptions album series with this in mind. SHINee really are one of the best performing groups in kpop.

I used to be their biggest fan and I’ve moved on to other groups but watching this I remember why I first started to be their fan: Shinee are on a whole other level of performers and in their own lane, which no one can top.

@@solar6120 nah i still think they have great stage presence. even the studio choom’s producer said his favourite performance was don’t call me & he was especially shocked by key’s presence (which i agree with). he’s seen like everyone in the industry. they still work just as hard too. even in the military, key was doing fashion research, minho was writing lyrics, onew was widening his vocal range. but agree, back then they probably had to work extra hard because they were under pressure to stay relevant & compete with other groups
They are still working hard. It's not fair to compare what they did in the beginning when they toured in Korea and Japan non stop... I think they have been smart in taking breaks between albums and promotions...I.e 2014 and 2015, etc. But they were still working hard writing songs, acting and also allowing Taemin and Jjong to do solo music in between. All their concerts I have found to be brilliant and so satisfying as a fan to see their talents. The break after 2017 is understandable right....and the military commitments affected their schedule. Maybe I misunderstood what the statement was or sentiment. If so, Apologies in advance. But i believe they are hard working and their performances...whatever it is...they put their souls and try different things to keep their fans and artistry exciting.

I'm 98% feeling that the way SHINee is right now, reminds me of DBSK. I know they have different styles and also started off differently as well, but I clearly know why everyone likes to compare them with DB5K. SHINee is really getting close to their level, in terms of singing, dancing, and strong live performance, if not already. I mean, seriously, they were good since day 1, except their voices were a little softer and smoother than they are now. God, don't tell me, this group is going to be the "too talented" group like DB5K? Because it's like they're standing on another level now, just watch, once they reach their 10th Anniversary, they will be a legend group.

+ukiss4ever7 actually i'm a bit sick of the comparisons. in my opinion SHINee are both a vocal power-house and an outstanding dance-group and seeing how easily Key stood in for Minho at SMTown in Osaka dancing "Mirotic", although he wasn't even supposed to be in the performance, is saying something too. DBSK were great but the legacy always makes them seem bigger than they were. SHINee don't need to wait another 3 years to become legend. I've seen them in Tokyo Dome and I doubt that DBSK could ever have been better than that. apart from that SHINee's music is developing in a different direction. they've stepped out of DBSK's shadow a long time ago and do their own thing that is significantly different from what their sonbae's did.

I need to go to one of their concerts oh my god. Please can they come to a concert in the US. It doesn't have to be a tour just ONE concert I will fly anywhere in the US to see them. I've been to 2 legit kpop concerts (EXO, and Block B) but none of them compare to the performance level of SHINee.

I'm 98% feeling that the way SHINee is right now, reminds me of DBSK. I know they have different styles and also started off differently as well, but I clearly know why everyone likes to compare them with DB5K. SHINee is really getting close to their level, in terms of singing, dancing, and strong live performance, if not already. I mean, seriously, they were good since day 1, except their voices were a little softer and smoother than they are now. God, don't tell me, this group is going to be the "too talented" group like DB5K? Because it's like they're standing on another level now, just watch, once they reach their 10th Anniversary, they will be a legend group.
I know it is true.They keep coming up with one great hit after another,I just hope they can keep up their Health and stay strong .Each has a bright future, single, or as a group .When they are much older in the entertainment world.

+ukiss4ever7 actually i'm a bit sick of the comparisons. in my opinion SHINee are both a vocal power-house and an outstanding dance-group and seeing how easily Key stood in for Minho at SMTown in Osaka dancing "Mirotic", although he wasn't even supposed to be in the performance, is saying something too.
DBSK were great but the legacy always makes them seem bigger than they were. SHINee don't need to wait another 3 years to become legend. I've seen them in Tokyo Dome and I doubt that DBSK could ever have been better than that.
apart from that SHINee's music is developing in a different direction. they've stepped out of DBSK's shadow a long time ago and do their own thing that is significantly different from what their sonbae's did.
