This song as the opener during the Resistance Tour with the indoor arena stage (the three towers....) is still one of the most impressive performances I've ever seen. Muse is always amazing live, their shows are some of the most innovative and advanced out there, but it never overshadows the music.
The lyrical content and message of the song is way more important than the superficial graphics……. Very powerful meaning that is very relevant now, 12 years after the song came out…..
A massively under-rated(by many, not all) band who always put on an innovative show. Strongly recommend you have a look at a few more of their tours, it'll be time well spent! Great reaction! And yes, I do see the irony of saying under-rated when we're watching them play to a sold out Olympic Stadium- a lot of people DO get it!
Muse is 4 people on stage. For live shows Muse has Morgan Nicholls on keyboards and percussion. In the studio Muse are a three piece. Morgan Nicholls is not an official member of Muse but is their session guy on tour. In this video Matt has a Korg kaoss pad Controller built into his guitar. The Kaoss pad is what is lit up on the guitar
First…I absolutely love this song and saw it epically performed as an opening song on Resistance tour. I think it very ironic that what they wrote about as a warning from the past is exactly what we all lived though the last 2 years. Now “they” are pushing monkey pox. I wish the people that write this stuff would finally “rise up and take the power back” but instead pushed the narrative of the power and greed to try and force us all to give up our freedoms. Nope! But I love you guys and your reviews and your ❤️….you wolf hunterz clearly are great peeps. And again….I love Muse and their music.
Read the lyrics. You were so funny with this in that it's new to you and 99% of the world knows every word of this song and how they perform. I mean you see their crowds right? ;)
I am actually a bit suprised about your comment, that they seem to use "extreme high tech that you never saw" for the live multiplication effect on the screens. You are in fact literally using that tech in a different way already: you made the background around you two invible or transparent so that the video or your banner can be put into by your computer. That same tech is used here, however instead of some other video or a banner they just use the picture of the guys themselves multiple times and moved a bit in both directions ;)... So *that* is a cool effect, but it is not higher tech than you are using yourselves for your reaction videos ;)...

The curtain drop on the towers was absolutely brilliant. Glad I got to see them on that tour!
@@JDC701 such an epic moment indeed. The buildup to that, that's how you warm up a crowd for the show.

THIS.
Exactly ✊
An anthem for our time.

In their younger days they were even more wild and sometimes Matt would destroy poor Dominique's drum set. They've calmed down quite a bit. LoL

My favorite Muse song. You should really check out James Durbin doing this song on American Idol.. He ripped it up..
“This show is cray”
What does “cray” mean?
cray = crazy
Why not just write crazy then? Hardly time saving missing out a letter
Where are Muse from? UK? Thats where the Olympics were the year before! London 2012. Oh no, oh no. oh no no no no no don't mention the R word :-I
Never ever mention the R word!
Muse are from Devon, England. Their song, Survival, was the London 2012 Olympics official song
@@aaron2k026 I know.. you misread my comment. Just for the formed in Devon but none of them are from Devon.
@@trevcornwall8160 sorry lol. Hard to read expression from a screen
@@aaron2k026 true that!
Forgive me but I have to say it this should be Ukraine's song to other people out there if you know what I mean!🇺🇦👍
More like ours to the WEF.
@@Happyheretic2308 correct sir/madam, stupid nevermore believing the WEF narrative.
