i think noxus is their best bet because the black rose is already being introduced in arcane, and with ambessa it would be an easy transition to the region. by going for noxus they can then easily go to the ionian invasion and find a way to then tie it into demacia because of their rivalry
@@joaorodrigues7993 you know what too, we've been absolutely strapped and ready for mordekaiser to make a move in Noxus and morde is opposed to the BLACK ROSE.

Glad this series is back at least for a little bit, though unlikely I really would like to see a bilge water video the only thing from them I’ve been able to nail down is a reliance of “cheap” shots and tactics
Bilgewater is the region of feast or famine. As a pirate harbour, Bilgewater is a land of lawlesss opportunity where anyone can make a fortune in a day if they are lucky or brave enough... but can also lose everything and their lives in the same night. This theme is easily seen in all of Bilgewater champions (with exception of maybe Nautilus), they either carry an 1v9 game or become completely useless: Miss Fortune and Nilah can wipe an entire team with an Ult, or they can be caught out of position and blown in a second. TF can dictate the match with smart rotations or mess up the use of his own W. Illaoi can be scariest raidboss in thee game or a sitting duck and so on. Playing Bilge champions is just as dangerous as gambling or hunting sea monsters, but can also reward you just as much.
Hey Vars. I really would like to see videos of yours talking about different champion design "eras", you know? The first and simple champions ( 2009-2012 ), the first "out of the ordinary" ( around 2013 ), and so on
@@lillyie Amumu and Rammus being ahead is impossible to kill if you're behind with the addition of their CC making team fights one sided, Xerath is a menace that deletes your hp even before a clash happens, In a way still makes sense for the "1v9 angle"

Amumu is very linear but you absolutely have to respect the Mummy's Curse. Xerath is an artillery cannon making hesitation potentially deadly but also solely focuses on pure displays of arcane might in exchange. Nasus can start being a oneshotting raid boss lategame but has to strategically build there with patience. Renekton is an oppressive lane bully and bruiser but his rage makes him prone to tunnelvision. Azir can become a DPS monster but requires the control and steady hand of a true monarch. So on and so forth.
WHAT? How come this series has been unpopular? Like actually, videos in this series might be one of the most interesting videos you have given us. No way people don't pay them attention. Criminal I say.
you see i want to argue but yeah. tho. i'd argue its about survival and selfishness. every zaunite only ever benefits themselves and doesn't benefit others unless accidental. they're opportunistic. the only outliers being the supports but even then, there's are about making an advantage state that is still largely their own advantage. the exact opposite to piltover. piltover is about cohesive idealistic societies with underlying hidden cruelty. while zaun is the oppurtunistic communities that exist in spite of cruelty. for example, jinx vs cait. both have a poke tool, auged autos, trap, and long ranged ult. however, the difference is that design wise, cait is put together and each meld into each other on purpose. whereas jinx is the exact opposite, none technically work together cohesively. the trap is far better as a get off me tool rather than an actual set up trap, the poke tool has no synergy for her traps or her autos (aside from cc but cc is the universal weakness), and her ult is meant to be shot far from her actual threat range However, the traps can be used at the oppurtune time to switch back at any moment for jinx to get the advantage, her poke tool can be used to slow and line up her ult, and her passive increases that oppurtunity thrice fold. while piltover is about creating their own meticulous win con via flexible kits, zaun is about pressing an advantage as hard as you can so that not even fuckery can defeat you.
piltover is more teamwork based , Vi Jayce Caitlyn Heim all have abilities to make cc ganks and teamwork plays. Zaun on the other hand, goes wild when u play their champions , Jinx WW Singed Ekko , ecourages you to kill all the opponents no matter how the fight would turn up. Have a more chaotic playstyle
I’ve been waiting for this video ever since finding your LoL regions series and it does not disappoint. One thing I was hoping you would touch on though was the common theme of privilege and safety that a lot of Piltovan champions have. The ranged champs all have incredible range on their poke (Cait R and headshots, Jayce EQ, all of Ez’s skillshots, etc.) on top of which they have very strong means of disengage (Cait E, Jayce E, Ez E). This can make it feel like Piltovan champs are untouchable if played correctly which ties into how Piltover is a very upper class region. Camille especially embodies this theme as she has several layers of safety in her passive shield, Q move speed, E stun, W range, and R untargetability. In lane, Camille’s fast combo (prep Q on minion > E > empowered Q > fade away W) can feel unpunishable while still chunking the opponent for a lot.
I'm so glad this seried is back, it was the reason I subscribed some years ago. I hope you'll contonue this trend, but I'm already more then happy just to see these 2 video's :)

I mean there could be an argument to be made for her being a hybrid between the two design philosophies but i guess well have to wait for the zaun video.
No matter what people or the metrics say, I enjoy these break down type of videos since I personally love to think of mechanics for fan made champions and want them to fit their respective regions ideology and champ design.
love this series. excited for ixtal! even though it's a recent region, i feel like most of its champions have a similar theme of keeping people away/catching enemies, which totally matches both the hidden nation and the jungles. it's a nice coincidence.
As someone who quit league, but still really enjoys the lore and characters, outside of Arcane, it's hard to explore this world unless you want to read the wikis for hours, and videos like this are greatly appreciated to help bridge the gap.
I had feeling that if Piltover champ is all about "mastering your weapon" and stuff, than a Zaun Champ gonna be "This is your kit now fuck around and find out" kinda champ.
I think one of the most important characteristics of Piltovan champions is the precision they demand of you. If you want to use them to their maximum potential you really have to know their timing, use their abilities at just the right moment, in the correct sequence. Camille is the foremost example of this of course, but they all share this precision theme one way or the other. Caitlyn with her sniping and the brief window of opportunity offered by her traps, Vi with her short-lived shields, Seraphine with her abilities gaining additional effects and so on. Piltovans demand you to be like clockwork. You must use their abilities at the right time, not a moment early, not a moment late
Lord I fucking love playing Jayce. He's not super braindead, but he's remarkably easy to understand (especially for someone like me who effectively mained stance switchers like Tyr and Merlin in Smite) despite the hidden complexity of his kit. Super fun champ.
I was really hoping arcane would do a significant event throughout runetera each season such as the ruination, the void, and the accession of nasus and Renekton
I hope you'd touch on the topic of Viktor soon! With Arcane s02 moving on to its 2nd and 3rd Arcs, and with the rumours of a Viktor VGU (all things considered, if one has watch the 3rd episode), they might continue to retcon his current in-game identity (which they already did, as with some of the Piltover/Zaun champs).
Predictions for the next video: zaun is about surviving the chaos or completing their goals despite a disadvantage. Namely most if not all have some sort of lingering threat that can function while dead or running away. Ie: zac passive, twitch e/passive, ekko r, renata w, jinx r
The way I'd describe the piltover kit is "Restrictive yet adaptable" As someone who plays Caitlyn a lot, she is a good pick regardless of someone's team comp. But is she always a great pick? Nope, Caitlyn can be awesome against specific team comps but Caitlyn is decent against almost everything. So basically piltover champs always have reliable performances even if they don't always have great performances.
