What do you think of Fellow's latest product release???
Nice shirt jacket. What is it?
I believe it's from Lulu Lemon
The screen is too small
You tryna watch movies??🍿
I’m a huge Fellow product supporter., I’m ready to pre-order, but I’m going to wait & see what James Hoffman says first.
I said the same thing.
I literally found this video and subsequently this comment after search "James Hoffman Aiden review." 😂
Does it take regular filter papers or proprietary?
Nothing proprietary about the filters, can buy them anywhere :)
I took the plunge and preordered. Can’t wait to see how she brews.
i really like this style of videos, short, all the infos and easy to watch!
wondering about the rocky lowball tumblers on the right side, havent seen anything about them yet!
Glad you enjoyed!
The tumblers were quite nice. Slide action on the lid was simple and satisfying
I was wondering the same! The label on the far right says Ruby Wine... I guess Fellow is covering my tumbler needs for both morning and evening dog walks :D
My biggest question so far is how do you clean it? Other than the removal of the basket/shower screen, do you just wipe down the inside or what?
Can’t wait for it to release 220v version!!
Btw have you tried tumbler right next to Aiden? Nobody mentions it
Those tumblers were nice!
Side action on the lid was very satisfying
I don't need a batch brewer, but this is really interesting. Curious to see how it performs when it's out..
"From the coffee nerd to somebody's mom" lol
Fellow should print that on the box
What's up with Denmark? 2/4 roasters he mentioned are from Copenhagen :O
Those folks know and LOVE coffee!
A brilliant, innovative product! Fellow deserve enormous success for bringing this to the public, but...my God I hate that boxy styling.
0:43 lol love the @Kyle Roswell cameo 🇨🇦💪🏽
😉
Looks sweet!
It's a pretty sleek system, as we've come to expect from Fellow! Let's do a "coffee tech" episode together 😉
the 1-10 batch brewer is great! Super interesting product!
A lot of similarities to the precision brewer from sage. Dont like the use of "cups" as a unit of measurement. lets see how it performs. As of now i wouldn't trade my precision brewer for it
Thanks for all the awesome reviews.
Thank you!
Minus the plastic this is solid. 👌🏻
LOVE Fellow 💥💥💥
Looking forward to your full review when this product is released. Did you get to taste the coffee this brewer produced?
Yes! we did a head to head with September coffee brewed on the Aiden and coffee hand brewed by Mr. Kyle Rowsell himself. Was a impressive result, and I'm sure could have been improved further as Nick was just duplicating the exact pour over recipe, and didn't dial in further past that
I don't get the single serve basket, why not make something for the V60 paper?
Melitta is a far more common and wide reaching style of filter paper. This is the same shape as the Moccamaster cone :)
Why using plastic? i love Fellow, but I’m looking for a stainless machine
I got distracted 😅
Your mom is somebody’s mom
I don't know why these coffee hipsters are so obsessed with lighter and lighter roasts. It's getting to the point where they're starting to taste more like tea. I'm getting the feeling this brewer was built with lighter roasts in mind. I'll stick with my $180 bonavita 8 cup and medium roast coffees.
People have different preferences in what they like. That doesn't inherently make one better than the other, it just means they're different.
The only point Nick is making in this video is that lighter roasts are typically more difficult to extract. Being able to accomplish that for both small and large batches is impressive. That doesn't mean it won't be good for darker roasts. Dial in accordingly to your coffee.
