I have the X2C-LT since a few weeks now. A great wing - gorgeous and a pleasure to fly :) It's my first (semi-) lightweight wing. Hopefully i will do some h&f now :D
How do you feel the brakeline pressure build up? And is it easy to feel the core both in picth and roll? I realEasy to take fly longer flights? Is the backriser handels easy to grab without looking?
Moderate build up. The risers are hard to oversee because they are in pain sight so I can't answer this question ;) Thermaling is as easy as with an agile C3 Iiner. Likes to turn tight and fast. Maybe you call fly it with less roll but I prefer to turn tight.
Have to get one or the other! Soo have to loose 1.2 kg then if I want the smootest flight. I gess the LT is easy to start in lighter and zero wind. But that is not often. Brake pressure build up on the X2C LT is clear and progressive, moderate to light, very precise. It's very easy to feel the core both in pitch and roll, the X2C and X2C LT are exceptionally good for this, I find. Feedback are even better than the Bonanza 3, without being too much, with significantly more performance all-round from our testing. The the X2C and X2C LT are wings for pilots who prefer more feedback, not pilots who prefer more dampened. They are super easy to make longer flights with, if you like more feedback. The B handles are very easy to grab, the distance between the steering line attachment and the B-riser handle is not too short; see the video and images. The B riser feeling and handling are very nice, exceptionally good. These are wings that make you grin, a lot. Hope this helps! 😄
We will certainly test the X2C LT 95 and 105 more, hopefully lots more, and may publish a full report if resources allow. However, I can't promise we will be able to do that. we're a small team and don't have the resources to publish full reviews of everything we test. We only manage to publish reviews of around 10% of the gear we test. If more pilots choose to buy their main gear from us then we'll be able to do more. We offer detailed reviews and personal feedback and recommendations to our customers through our match service, info on our website.
Looks like the risers are still missing a webbing strap between the A's and B's to avoid being able to over accelerate the wing? If this is the case, then they will not be allowed in the Sports Racing series comps. Other wise looks nice, liked the colour.
@flybubblecarlo excellent news: I couldn't see it in the video, might be worth mentioning it as it wasn't on the original wing and night make a difference to a few pilots out there wanpnting to compete.
@@carlfoster9408 Apologies for any confusion on the latest SRS rules. After 2024, an AB limiter is required for the SRS, but the specifics of this are unclear. The XC2 and X2C LT do not come with an AB limiter by default to maintain simplicity. However, Zoom has produced optional risers for these wings to meet the latest SRS rules, allowing pilots to use them in the SRS. Pilots not participating in the SRS do not need to make any changes.
Whilst we're on this topic, out of interest how many pilots would not buy a wing or harness because it didn't satisfy current SCRS rules? sportsracingseries.org/about-us/rules/

There's a webbing strap between As and Bs which limits the speed, but I'm unsure if this meets the SRS requirements.

Personally, my choice of wing is more important to me than any competition, so this wouldn't affect my decision.
