      Did you see how bad this piece of shit was before he started working on it? Also you must be unaware that the only reason cars of this era survived was because kids getting back from the war hot rodded them and let me fill you in on a little secret ( a LOT of them were chopped and channeled a lot cruder than this one) and any asshole with no skill and a big fucking mouth like you could have bought the car before he “absolutely ruined it” but they didn’t. His name is on the title. In the words of my fellow generation Z “cope, seethe, mald”

    I have been working with cars and bikes for over 60 years, and damn few of these blogs impress me. You, son, are one skilled body man with skills that span the requirements to be called a true expert in your craft. If that was truly your first chop, you certainly have spacial insight that few possess. I only subscribe to three channels I believe are worthy to watch, and yours is one of them. Take some advice from an old man, figure out a way to make your skills fund a comfortable lifestyle, never do gratis work, and always double your estimates for your costs. I believe you will eventually be widely recognized for your work. By the way, I love your ease of TIG welding sheet metal. I am trying to attain some level of proficiency with TIG'ing sheet metal as we speak. Drives me nuts. I will part ways with one last piece of earthly advice: If it fucks, flies, floats, or feeds, rent it, don't buy it!

      @CarterAutoRestyling  2 года назад

      Thanks! I can understand why no one wants to watch my videos, this is just something I tried for fun so it's not exactly high class entertainment haha. What I don't understand is why your channel doesn't have 100k+ subscribers, you do outstanding work and your videos are actually entertaining and helpful. I think part of the problem is that RUclips has become the very thing it was intended to replace (television). It's all about quantity over quality, so the algorithm promotes content that it thinks will have the widest appeal, which is usually videos about doing things the cheap, fast and easy way.

I decided to stick with guitars and basses! Those mid thirties cars- especially five windows, look killer with that exact amount of chop. And a fenderless one with a 392 hemi and zoomies, is perhaps the most bitchin' ride there is. And, unlike some other You Tube fabricators, you are using lead. That's awesome. I will saw I have never seen a roof chopped like that. I just randomly found this video, You have a good eye to pick up the details to make this work. Nice job!

    Damn, dude. I never could visualize where to cut without ruining all the compound curves, then it's all foreign language to me. Well done! Came from CWM, weird to see more than one channel with a positive comment section, hahaha!

      Thank you! I'm very fortunate to have a small, but excellent audience. Some of the other channels I watch get bombarded with hatred and idiotic comments, so I'm happy that whatever I'm doing here is attracting good people!

    Wow you're gutsy! Most times doing the top first, then making doors fit to it

      I used to do it that way. Bobby Walden has a series on RUclips where he chops a 32 Ford and explains why he does the doors first. It actually makes the job go easier

    If that was your first chop you did an extraordinary job.
    If it was not your first, you did a great job.

    Scott is the genius of restoration. If he recommends a channel , he has quite a bit of clout with the you tube audience. ColdWarmotors motors has a lot of Trailer Park qualities. I don’t suspect that you should try to bring that in to your mix. Someone should send you a welders smock made of cowhide leather ..that is really what you need before going up in flames.
    Love to see the roof filled in and that would be cool.
    Cheers Alberta Dave 🇨🇦😊

      Thank you! I'm hoping it ends up with a hopped up 235 or 261 straight 6. The engine that was sitting in it is unfortunately ruined beyond repair.
