I mean look at that place - solar panels, wind turbines, fresh water, vegetation. These people probably where an enclave of self-sufficient off-the-grid communities long before the nuclear war. The one thing they did not see coming is that their water source would get contaminated over time. The citadel worked because its aquifer was deep underground. So it remained a paradise even as the rest of Australia's fresh surface water was destroyed. So probably the same thing happened to the oasis from Mad Max Beyond the Thunder Dome.
Yeah they really thought of everything. They have solar cooking, everyone has a whistle as a warning system and everyone is clearly trained to some degree to be able to defend themselves and their home.
It's Alice Springs, practically isolated so yeah makes sense for solar and wind to be there before the fall. Probably didn't suffer much until the nuclear war when acid rain killed the green.

The continuity in this movie was awesome. At 1:59 they show the peach that would be the source of Dementus's torture.
She keeps the peach with her while she was taken.
The peach gets taken by one of her guards.
The guards eat the peach before getting killed by Furiosa's mother.
Furiosa's mother grabs the seed from the dead guards hands and then later gives it to Furiosa so that she can grow it for her memory.
Furiosa keeps the seed with her for the entire movie before growing that seed in Dementus's half dead body. At 1:59 they've already foreshadowed the ending of the movie.

The girl who played young Furiousa was awesome. I would have watched an entire movie with her as the lead. They could have done a separate movie with Anya as the older version but I definitely want to see more with the younger version.

The detail of the storm from from space is fecking brilliant visual foreshadowing
Showed that oceans didn't "dry up" which is a extremely silly idea. Given nuclear war can trigger an ice age in the northern hemisphere, it lowered the sea levels making it very noticeable increase of landmass.

@@tristanbackup2536 didn't dry up *yet*. this takes place 20 years before fury road where clearly they are died up by then. Also before beyond thunderdome, which featured the died up ocean by then, or at least a greatly reduced coastline.

The first 2 hours of Furiosa is a 10/10. Perfection. The last 20 minutes is average or below average. All the Furiosa sections were AWESOME. MORE of her character!!!

It's a BMW bike from what I looked up, but I believe the sound is edited to make it sound as is. Since I'm not to much of a motorcycle expert.

It's a cool film, it needed a bit more Mad max cameos for sure, being as it's suppose to be Mad Max saga for crying out loud, but atleast it had Hemsworth as The great Dementus. Hopefully it makes a bit of money, I love the Mad Max films.
