Although Beelzebub is the only god I immediately wanted to win based on introduction, it was Shiva that I decided to start rooting for as round 5 continued.
But both fighters were very likable.

Also I never realized that Shiva took Rudra's tattoo's at the mountain peak until the anime. I always wondered why he looked so young and naked before the Ragnarok tournament.
Another spectacular video - I hadn't actually realized Shiva even had tears until you pointed that out now in said video, the attention to detail they have, I'm disappointed I'd missed it. :D

I dont know how accurate thedepiction of Lord Shiva, but as an Indian , and a serious devotee to Lord Shiva , I can tell Lord Shiva it not really know for a carefree attitude, infact he is often depicted as Calm, Generous, at time Short Tempered . I had to confess, I haven't seen the show , but I would definitely at least for my God, this should be interesting
Whatever you do just don't babble on about how this isn't a accurate description of lord shiva . There is Buddha and jesus on the anime and nobody has ever complained as much as Hindus on lord shiva lol
@@Samuel_Burgess_ i think you got the wrong idea, i wasn't critizing anything, I was just saying as a Worshiper of Lord Shiva, I know the mythology and stories, and the culture, I was just mentioning the differences, I didn't say LOrd Shiva was depicted poorly, I said it was different,
you should learn to read first, then comment on other opinions. And pretty bold statement generalizing hindus. Thats racist, it may be your anecdotal evidence , but isn't what the true populations. And I wonder its this rude attitude that you have such a clouded opinion on others.
Definitely he isn't accurate to the original Hindu teachings, neither is Buddha, whom I venerate as a Buddhist. But it's clear that both Lord Buddha and Lord Shiva's depictions in this manga are born purely out of respect whilst also having to adjust their personalities to some extent to keep it original. Regardless, Shiva and Buddha still came out as both of my favourite characters in this series.
@@EasyDubai Agree with you totally, infact its more fun to see a different take on the characters, as it would be more interesting to see a charming Shiva in contrast to the holyscriptures which depict shiva to be stoic and occasionally short tempered.

I guess its up to intepretation, I of course agree he defo didn't want to keep going cause his best friend would die, but I also think it confused him a lot as to why Rudra would keep fighting like this even at the risk of death, he considered himself and Rudra the same in a lot of ways, two best buds, but in that moment he was faced with the reality that Rudra wasn't the same as him and that he didn't understand his freind as well as he thought,

While Shiva isn’t my favourite character, he’s still really well written and I still love him and that just shows how great this manga is. The fact that pretty much all their characters are great no matter what
