- I've paid $341 for a Premium Flat Bed seat on Thai Air Asia X flight from Bangkok to Seoul Incheon (5 hours flight). Can I get more than what I've paid for flying on Air Asia X?

Until I watched this video I was under the impression that Sam is gay.
Even though I've been building aircraft for nearly 7 years, I still find it hard to believe there are this many seats in a metal box and it flies through the sky, its nice to get a reminder.
We in .America are told that Air Asia is like Southwest. Having spent most of my adult life in the US Navy and traveled around the world I can officially say BS. Air Asia is WAY better than anything in North America or Europe because of one thing CUSTOMER SERVICE. America has thrown CS in the toilet. Americans in general are sooooo spoiled and overpaid. They refuse to do anything above and beyond because they only want to get paid. I for one applaud AIR ASIA. Great people and very fair prices along with customer service you will not find in the West. PERIOD!
I flew Northwest, Delta and United before from Asia to the states or internal, no problems at all, but I am already happy if the give me food and water :-) On one of the flights on Christmas eve they upgraded me to business without asking, can't remember the airline it was too long ago, (perhaps overbooked?)....these were all late nineties and early 2000's
spot on with your comment there.myself being a malaysian and flying airasia countless of times and now being based in Barcelona for the past 2 years of so,flying low cost around europe,Airasia are miles ahead.I must say norwegian is pretty close & not far behind.I cant say the same for the low cost carriers over in the States or NA as I have never been there n flown there,but I am looking forward in trying them out sometime in the future.
Being Malaysian myself and lived in Europe for over 6 years. I have flown with many different budget airlines like TAP, Air Berlin, Niki, Norwegian, S7, AirBaltic Easyjet, etc, I have to disagree. Air Asia definitely has one of the worst customer service in the world.

I flew with airasia premium x from Taiwan to Kuala Lumpur and back and it was really great. Very comfortable seats, good service and beautiful flight attendants.
What the US airlines were like in the 70s
what I love about sam's videos is meeting nice people through them. I know that most of them are only doing their job with a VIP client, but from experience, people who love their job do their best with any passenger. So when I travel I am very kind to the crew and I really appreciate their work, even if they are not Asian beauties ...although if they are, what more could I ask for!
I took AirAsia ☓ from Kuala Lumpur to Tianjin and I flew on Premium flatbed. The experience is wonderful and the crew were helpful. On the way back, I bought some expensive and fragile stuff and the security and ground staff paid special attention to the luggage. As usual, all Premium customers have their bags out before anyone else. I would say good job Air Asia X.

I flew Thai Air Asia last year between Chiang Mai, Thailand and Hong Kong. The flights were excellent. My only complaint was that the leg room was shorter than what I usually experience on aircraft in the U.S. (it was an A320). I flew Thai Air Asia on some domestic flights in Thailand back in 2007-08 and they didn't have assigned seating which I didn't like very much. Not sure if they still do that on those domestic flights but the flight between Chiang Mai and Hong Kong had assigned seats.

Hi Sam, I flight whit Air Asia from Hong Kong to Auckland in economy ( 2 stops in Kuala and Gold Coast ) the flight and the service was really good but they lost my luggage and recovery 3 weeks later, but I would surely fly with them on shorter routes soon...
Never trust a low cost carrier with checked luggage and transfers. However their carry-on luggage weight limit (7kg) is really low.

Sam, just discovered your channel and found this video. I’ve traveled on Air Asia a few times and have enjoyed their service. A small nit pick about how you shoot your video. I know you’re shooting it selfie style with your cell phone, but you need to look straight at your camera. It looks like you’re looking sideways on your on camera appearances. Also your opening looked like you were dubbed. The lip sync looked off.
Other than that, a fun video. The Air Asia female flight attendants you met were gorgeous. It was nice to see that they were polite and friendly interacting with you.

Sam, I enjoyed AirAsia Group flights between HND and CGK (via KUL). My seats we’re economy. But cabin attendants were courteous, and in-flight meals were decent.
When my returning flight itinerary was altered due to the typhoon that hit Japan on 12 Oct., 2019, Air Asia e-mailed me as soon as they cancelled their flight from KUL to HND Friday morning. So I was able to make re-arrangements for the schedule change with plenty of time.
I used then from Sydney to Kl they were great, I recommend and use AirAsia X, Thank you to the lovely crew members and of course Airline its self
Air Asia is my choice of airline, and my favorite seat 14C in the quite cabin. Every time i fly air asia nothing to expect but so much to gain by way of crew experience, food, departure and arrival time. Perrrrrrrrrfffffffeeeeeeeeccccccccttttttt choice to fly

Flew air asia economy class once. It was a painful experience, no entertainment, have to pay for food and water
same here. Wuhan to BKK and I could not move at all. Felt like I was glued to the seat. I never booked them again, even they kept sending e-mails.

But the cabin looks better than I thought.
I nevere regretted to fly Air Asia, - the service was superb all way through, not only by the cabin crew, but everywhere within the airport as well. I have to confess: when I see the AirAsia-logo I always realize, that I'm in need of a holiday. Unfortunately Lufthansa and Thai Airways never came close to this overall OUTSTANDING performance.

My experience with AirAsia was great. I always sitting on economy class instead higher class like the premium flatbed. I give 5 stars for their service.
Note: I never buy any foods or drinks on the plane. Always eat on the ground before takeoff because on the plane quite expensive (eg: Nasi Lemak at airport costs about RM10 while on the plane will be double. Normally it have the coconut milk rice with sambal, ikan bilis, egg and fried Chicken).

I booked a flight with Nok Air from DMK to OdonThani and thought it was just a regular seating. Turned out, they gave me a First Class seating. The ladies were the nicest people. Won;t mind flying with Nok Air if I ever travel to Thailand again.
AirAsia X Berhad do a good job, not sure about AirAsia X Thai. But not so impressed by Sam sleazing on women calling them 'the most beautiful' and critiquing the their outfit, asking for massage.... this is not OK (especially in Thai culture).

The narrower 3/3/3 seating arrangement is presumably quite acceptable on SE Asian flights due to smaller stature and shorter flights.
When I ami the Philippines, am a frequent flyer of air asia..i love their services and i love the plane.its a low ost but i didnt feel that its a low cost.. i love their cabin crews..they are all beautiful and handsome

I flew on their premium flat bed BKK to Seoul as well and the service was lovely! Though I feel the bed was quite hard, food was OK, I mean its good for the priced paid. :)
