I use the SP-23 with my ICOM 7610 running it through my ClearSpeech DSP Speaker for Amazing filtering and it has more bass than the ClearSpeech speaker which I prefer.I bought the SP-23 from a friend’s estate and I would never pay the Crazy full price that they ask for them New.
Hi,thanks for your comments, that particular speaker I sold some time ago, but have fond memories, I have now updated to a Yaesu speaker, but you probably know that 🙃.The older I become I find audio with more higher frequency easily to understand ,for me the bass just get lost in the noise,,,,73s from Rotterdam.
@@Bernard-John I’m 50% Deaf in both ears and I hear the Bass much better.I use ClearSpeech DSP Base Modules,or their speakers,& I even have one BHI DSP Module. They make my ICOM 7610,9100,& 7000 all much quieter and much more pleasurable to listen to.I Hate Noise and those DSP units remove most all of it.👍🎙 W4KVW
@@1OFGODSOWN Hi,unfortunately many operators are older and many with their pension, so finding a operator with good hearing is difficult, but it seems that you have found a solution, good for you 👍, why not make a video about it,for the many others who suffer from hearing difficulties,,,fine weekend, 73s from Rotterdam..
I bought a JBL Professional series, 305p MKII for less than half the cost of this external speaker, and the quality, is amazing. Save your money and go with the studio monitor.
Hi,I understand the point you are making, but a dedicated amateur radio external speaker will mostly sound clean, because it's made for the narrow bandwidth and it also has 4 filters, but if you satisfied that all that's important 😉, thanks from Rotterdam 👍
Hi,if only it was that easy, the off button is just that, but unfortunately you still have to unplug from the radio, it's the same with the Yaesu external speaker,,,73 from Rotterdam ..
