This is the best live arrangement of this song I’ve heard by far! Love it with this slow groove…just works so well…but I don’t know why it seems this is the only time they did it this way from what I’ve found so far

He is the true essence of JAZZ. He's been blessed with the most wonderful musical instrument - his soul, his body and his voice and in turn has blessed us all with his greatness!

In South Africa, the audience would not be sitting so quiet...so reserved... Looks odd to me watching the the audience here...awesome vibe/groove/rhythm..We always clapping/tapping/swaying..
Wrong feel? Why? The feel is different compared to the studio-version, but to me it's absolutely great. Over the years Al interpreted his songs new again and again, but this was typical for his musicianship. Discovering the music new, improvising, giving new ideas to the audience, that's jazz.

Another thing. Al Jarreau's voice enabled im to sound like an entire chorus. Kinda like Bill Evans on the piano.
