- Come for a pov video of the ride The Smiler Alton Towers. I use my gopro 8 black to record this ride. This video was taken in the 2019/2020 season. This is the best POV ever of this ride... Also... Maybe we shouldnt have high quality... The ride looks so worn out and weathered.. How long can Merlin go before the ride starts detering the public with how badly (cosmetically) looked after it is...

I am binge watching this video until I pluck up the courage to go on it. I am 11, and my sister has told me to go on it and I am trying to force myself to go on it because it looks so damn fun. The only thing is, I would be going on my own because my sister may not be coming anymore and my dad can’t go on so I’ll be going down the single riders section. 😂

I watched it 50 times to pluck up the courage, then went on it! "It was fun and not as rough as Wickerman or the last bend of Nemesis"! And I am 5 times older. At night in the damp air it seemed to go faster.
I have to admit I like the smiler area ageing, it looks even more like an secret facility, it’s the same with nemesis those rides look perfect an little run down on paint or cleeness

sometimes i wonder how the puddles manage to get into the indoor section: you can see it in the reflection
it might get cold and damp or something,, idk i didnt pay attention in school
I think its from when rain enters the through the opening for the first lift hill, the rain will run down and make puddles.

with a large queue like that the operations werent the best this day
