Arin is probably the master of rotation
actually, Ninjago lore states that if the Spinjitzu is shiny, they have elemental powers. if you go back to season 2, before Nya unlocked her element, she had a dull red colour in her Spinjitzu. Same with Misako, whose Spinjitzu is grey. But what really stumps me is the fact that Arin's Spinjitzu is golden, for some reason. This might mean he has already unlocked it, but just doesn't know it yet.

I thought we all knew the had elemental powers connected to Spinjitzu.
Personally I don't think Arin NEEDS to have an elemental power. The book says that his ultimate goal is to "unlock his elemental power" but it doesn't confirm that he has one. It can be just saying that Arin desperately *wants* to have an elemental power and is doing everything he can to unlock it. However, he can simply end up not having an elemental power. I think that would be really interesting and would make a great story between Arin and Sora as Arin could be jealous of Sora's power. It would also be great to have someone on the ninja team be a non elemental master. We saw Pixal of course but she was a side character and Arin is one of the main characters this season.
Arin is the main character in dragons rising . He is way to important to just not have an elemental power. it would be nice if he didnt have an elemtal power , then the series would be way more interesting
@@AT0M- I agree and he will probably have an elemental power but I said it would be way more interesting if he was a Spinjitzu Master, a Ninja without the elemental power. It would be something new from what we are used to (all ninja having some kind of powers). It would make for a great character development for him and realizing that he doesn't need a power to be a useful member of the team (like we saw in the first part of Dragons Rising, he is awesome without his power)
I feel like arins power would be a fire like creation power if he would have one because of his power or he can have like golden power or his color is cause like full potential idk
Uuuh pixal does have powers it was confirmed because the explorer didn't feel anything when using the Dam stick while pixal eyes glow (or elementar power become stronger) when using the dam stick same like the ninja and ashpeera too

This might be a far fetch theory but, I think this is a huge possibility. (SPOILERS)….
Arin will be a special Elemental master, The elemental master of SPINJITZU. It might take time for the writers to fully write his story but things that happened to him that never happened to any of the ninja or any character in ninjago.
1. Transferring spinjitzu to an object
2. Learning spinjitzu on his own
3. A different type of spinjitzu from any we’ve seen
He definitely has a lot of potential. For someone with barely any training, he is fast and kinda smart even though he is clumsy.
And here I have found another genius in this comment section. So glad people are catching onto this! I mean, I've been set on this since Episode 3! This has got to be the case!!!

sora will unlock her true potential and she will be throned as Empress of Imperium and Master of Tech, Arin has a undiscovered element, or may not even have one. But is a potential dragon descendent from learning the arts of spinjitzu. My theory about Wyldfire is that she either is the Master of Lava, or Emotions.

Sora’s element is, in my opinion, stupidly named. She should be master of magnetism, of welding, maybe even recombination. They could’ve explained her unique abilities by using the merge; elements combining in nature and creating new forces.

I think Arin’s elemental power is spinjitzu as we already knew that Arin has learned a weird kind of spinjitzu all by himself and in Dragons Rising season 1 episode 3 The Crossroads Carnival we see Arin transfer spinjitzu into an object so it’s clearly that Arin is the elemental master of spinjitzu but he doesn’t know it yet

but spinjitzu is a technique, even Misako and Doubloon manged to do it, also when Nya was possessed by evil in S.2 she did a dark form of spinjitzu. I think it would be a little silly for him to be an elemental master of a technique, it might be something else

I think his elemental power is something to do with spinning, because while fighting the big puppet, he transferred his spinjitsu power into the item, which went flying and spinning. Plus, he also learned spinjitsu all by himself, I think that he showed his elemental powers a little already.

Okay so I think Arin’s power could be golden power/creation because think about it Arin’s suit is gold/orange also we know that when elemental powers don’t have a host they move to a new one so since Lloyd was drained of his golden power and the golden weapons were destroyed in crystallized maybe the powers moved to Arin? Also it would explain why his main goal is to unlock his elemental powers because he can’t just use the golden power straight away like how it took Lloyd 2 seasons to learn how to use golden power also at the end of dragons rising part one Lloyd says to Arin that he has potential to be a greater ninja than any of the other ninja that has to be foreshadowing right?
If he will have a power, I’m actually thinking his elemental power is spinjitzu, or the power of creation like Wu. They both have similar spinjitzu colors. Just my guess.
If you ask me right now, before the second half comes out, i think that he is the elemental master of rotation! Because he converted spinjitzu in an object.

I thought Spinjitzu was the act of projecting elemental (or simply kinetic) energy into a tornado. How can you have the element OF a projectile movement?! That's like saying my elemental power is throwing bricks...

I mean in past seasons the old tea lady(forgot her name) said that people without elemental powers have weak spinjitzu and they dont have a spinjitzu colour thats why hers was grey and plain but arons spinjitzu is yellow/orange meaning he does have a power since its coloured and 'filled'
He has the ability to transfer his Spinjitzu energy into an unanimated thing transforming it into a potential weapons and he's the first ever ninja to learn Spinjitzu for himself. Like a proto-spinjitzu😊

A theory I have, is like Wyldfire having fire as an elemantal power like Kai, Arin could possess a power we have already seen in Ninjago. Just look at the Cloud City episode, one of the writters has wind as an elemantal which Morro possesed as well, way before. My theory is that Arin has a similar color scheme to Skylor, what a coincidence? don't you think? Maybe Arin will have the power to give himself many diffirent abilities when having contact with other elemental masters. I mean, color usally corresponds to a characters power, and what else could the color orange mean for Arin's character? By the way, searching up "Orange Ninjago" will lead you to Skylor, wierd?
Guess we have to wait and see in part 2 if this is true
really sora master of technology, honestly, in my opinion, they should rename her element into the "the Element of Telekinesis" or "Element of Manipulation" since in the last episode she was able to get all the parts from ryu cage and transform it into a ball and through it at the lion guy
Yeah I really don't want her to be the master of technology as that sounds so lame. And Telekinesis is usually pink in other media like X-Men with Jean or Gwen from Ben 10.

Maybe he is the master of movement. As the spinjitzu is about moving and spinning, Arin could learn by himself to do spinjitzu and transfer it to an object by controlling his movement and the object's movement
For now, I think it's fine having Sora be the elemental master of technology and Arin be a seemingly random kid with a talent for Spinjitzu (sorta).
He could be the master of rotation, since he was able to learn spinnjitzu on his own and because he was able to use it on another object
@@Subscoob I doubt Ninjago a show primarily for kids will handle affair's for characters backstorys. He may just be able to use Spinjitzu in a Unique way.
Arin taught himself Spinjitzu. And he can use Spinjitzu for objects. Arin's talents are incredible.
I liked the idea of his power being kinetic or something similar, there is gravity already you know…

I think the power Arin has is creation because the color of his Spinjitzu matches master wu’s witch must mean master wu is dead because of the fact that there can only be one master of each power at a time.
I'm pretty sure that Arin has Wu's elemental essence. It would add a lot to the show and the character if Master Wu was killed during the merge or transformed into a dragon and his elemental essence was passed on to another character. It would add weight to Lloyd becoming a master and make sense of what he said to Lloyd in his flashback. Plus, Wu's elemental power of creation was never really shown during the main story. It just showed him being really good in martial arts and spinjitzu and having a lot of knowledge about Ninjago and wisdom. So, having his elemental being like what Arin is capable of doing would explain many things.
I don't want Master Wu to die though because that would bring Lloyd more stress and trauma and he already has enough trauma but the writers gave him more anyways.

Well if speed can be an element I could imagine Arin being a master of kinetic (movement), thus explaining his agility and ability to apply spin to objects.

This isn’t really about Arin but, It definitely seems like the merge gave tons of people powers, because none of the characters with new powers, have not had powers prior, but after the merge they all are being granted different ones. That’s where the original ninja are special, they are still the actual elemental masters, the others are kind of just granted powers via merge and dragons. There has to be a lot more to the story and I feel like part 2 of dragons rising may help explore some of this or answer any questions.
You say that the original ninja are special, you’re right they are but there’s plenty of characters who had elements prior to the merge😂

I think saying this confirms he has one is also saying he knows he has one and is just trying to unlock it, which doesn't seem to be the case. I think the way it's worded makes it seem more like a big dream type situation, where he wishes he could unlock an elemental power, without knowing if he even has one or not. I think it would make sense if it's just more of him looking up to the ninja and trying to be like them, since they all have elemental powers

I think arins elemental power is spinjitzu yes we know non elemental masters can learn spinjitzu but his looks different like in one episode he made an object do spinjitzu

Maybe his element is dragon powers, maybe he can fuse with dragons or maybe he can upgrade other people's power like source dragons since he transferred his spinjitsu to an object maybe that means he can transfer his power to other ninjas to make them stronger. Or he summons/turns into dragons one of the two
I think his elemental power is motion. Since the realms got mearged together, maybe some elements did too, like speed and gravity, which i guess would make motion. This could also explain how he made his own spinjitsu and can give it to objects.
a couple of guesses
1. The element of Animals (mythical in particular) this will explain his connection with dragons and perhaps he will be able to transform his limbs into limbs of animals or something like that
2. The element of the sun, this would explain the orange color of his suit and, in fact, there is something in this, he would control not fire, but flashes of light, and they could somehow combine their elements with Kai.
3.golden power, perhaps it remained in Lloyd and at some point he could transfer it, this is a common theory, it also has a place to be
I hope he will not be a master of spinjitzu as many people think bc it's so boring, because this is what the ninja mastered at the very beginning and what's the point?

@@gay4-ninjas I think that current theory is a 50/50 chance right now since it’s presumed that wu died but it’s not certain yet so I think part 2 would confirm this
I have a idea of what Arin elemental power maybe (this is just a cool idea for Arin) I think Arin’s elemental power is spinjitzu. Maybe when Arin unlocks his power he would be able to shoot small spinjitzu tornadoes out of his bare hands. Since he can transfer spinjitzu onto an object maybe he can hit his opponents or enemies with his spinjitzu powers. Arin can simply shoot small spinjitzu tornadoes out of his hands without spinning… so that’s what I think Arin’s elemental power may be.

I think arins power will either be creation since Lloyd doesn't have it anymore or enhancement since we've seen him do a lot of supportive role stuff maybe his power makes other powers stronger in some way
I have somehow convinced myself that Arin will have some sort of power relating to dragons. As we can see on his hoodie it could just be an interesting design choice but there is a dragon holding a symbol, and as we know all of the other Ninja have a symbol on their gi which represents their power. And on Arin's hoodie, a dragon is holding the symbol out in its claws. And it could just be pure coincidence, but the source dragon that gave Lloyd a part of its power in the final episode of part one had a similar color to Arin's spinjitsu(we can see it wrap around Lloyd's arm when he touches the source dragon) also Arin has horns on the hood of his ninja gi which could be a creative way of representing how Garmadon's true power is creation which is, of course, related to dragons, but yet garmadon is still closer to an oni with HORNS and all. So I also think the horns could represent Lloyd's golden oni form or even more simply they could just be for fun I'm not really sure. But what do you think? Is it possible?? Or am I just crazy 😭

I kinda don’t want him to have a power because he’s the first character on the ninja team to be shown you don’t need powers to be a ninja…also The only reason I wanted them to keep doing focus seasons and for them to keep the 6 original ninja team is so that Jay, Cole and Zane get get they’re powers developed like Cole and Nya did, and also so Jay can learn about his birth Mom and so Zane can reunite with Echo Zane. If they can do all that without focus seasons and making Arin and Sora main characters then I’m good (and plus doc wyatt did say we were gonna get some answers to some of the questions the old series left in the first saga. Kai probably could get his powers developed because he is helping wildfire.

Well, what if his elemental power is explosion or something like that cause when Lloyd is seeing visions, he sees some symbols, which clearly resemble the elemental powers. One of the symbols is an orange explosion or possibly even spinjutzu, so his element is probably explosion or spinjutzu.
maybe erin may have a similar element to lloyd's element of energy, and perhaps we may see lloyd's oni form again (I want to see it in dragons rising, hopefully they'll change it for the series as well), but if we see his oni form again, I do expect Wyldfyre not to trust him anymore since she was raised by dragons. it would be an interesting plot twist, and it would kind of make sense.

I think it’s possible he’s got the power of the first spinjitzu master or at least a part of his powers so there’s Wu with one part, Garmadon with another, Lloyd with his and Arin with his spinjitzu powers
I think it is Creation which is why he could do spinjitzu and we will finally be able to see how master Wu's element really is as we've never seen how creation really works but we've seen destruction in action now we can see creation in action

Idk, this thought is super far-fetched, but maybe Arin is supposed to be like a new first spinjitzu master? Despite not having displayed any elemental power yet, he seems to have a connection with Riyu (but this totally could just be because of how kind he is) like how the first spinjitzu master had a connection with dragons. And nobody except the first spinjitzu master, who allegedly came up with spinjitzu taught themselves spinjitzu. Also, the fact that it seems to be a new type with new abilities. I know there are tons of problems with this, like how the first spinjitzu master was part oni and dragon and we actively see Arin's parents in the first episode, and a ton of other holes, idk, it could be something cool.

I feel like somehow he got master Wu’s power of creation which he got from his fathers life essence which i think somehow Wu’s essence effected him since his spinjitzu is the same color plus he has learned it without training possibly something he unlock by Wu’s essence

I just finished Dragons Rising!
I have been a Ninjago fan for 12 years now and though there have been better seasons in the past Dragons Rising was a lot better than I expected, considering that I am a huge fan of the old Ninja (before the Ninjago movie). I had also thought (based on the trailers and clips) it would be targeted at a younger audience but turns out that I was wrong. I have mixed feelings on this season but overall, loved how it tied in with previous Ninjago seasons but was not completely based off of the old series so that people who had not seen the old series could still understand it.
I loved the introduction of the new elemental masters, especially technology. Sora's backstory and the idea of the Kingdom of Imperium was also fantastic. Arin is an excellent character. He is funny and quite cool, though he is quite clumsy and seems to enjoy "punching himself in the face".
What I did not like, however, was Wyldfire's element because her power is too similar to Kai's. Kai is my second favourite ninja, by the way, so I feel it doesn't seem right that his power has been copied. I understand that new elements can be difficult to think of but "heat" was just not creative enough.
I have a theory that the "ghost" mentioned by both Kai and Nya was Master Wu (hopefully not dead - I love Master Wu's character) from an alternate universe, trying to communicate with his pupils.
Zane emerging out of that egg-shaped thing was quite unexpected and seemed strange and just a random thing thrown in out of the blue. I hope we get an explanation for this in future episodes.
Where are Cole and Jay??? I really want to see them with the rest of the team.
My favourite scene is definitely the part where Lloyd is powered up by the source dragon.
I can't wait to see the next few episodes.

Arin's is most likely Kinetic energy (hopefully they give it a better name) as he can put energy into different objects allowing him to use Spinjitzu in a unique way.
Sora's has to be Telekinesis if it's "tEcHnoLOgY" that's going to be a major missed opportunity and let down as Telekinesis is usually Pink in other media like X-Men with Jean or Gwen from Ben 10.

how about Sora being a technopath, meaning she can dis- and reassemble machinery, interface with techology and to a degree control said technology, depending if she actually understands the respective techology.
