Imo, I think Halle Bailey would be a *PERFECT* fit for Calliope. She sings beautifully, and she has been in a Disney movie before. Agree or disagree, she would be absolutely amazing in this role!!

Jeremy Irons doesn’t play Hades, James Woods did. And Jeff has played villains before yes, especially the Gamemaster in Thor Ragnarok

Cameron Monaghan as Hercules. He's a hot buff muscley ginger who can belt out singing because I've heard him sing I can go the distance and Bill Hader as Hades. He has that comedic charm Hades has.
The Muses need to be ladies who are going to SANG and give us the gospel/churchy vibe that the original muses gave us!!! I think the lineup for the Muses should be Jennifer Hudson, Shelea, Kierra Sheard Kelly, Keke Palmer, and Amber Riley. Jennifer Hudson is common sense. Shelea played Dorinda Clark Cole in The Clark Sisters biopic. Kierra Sheard Kelly is a gospel singer and the Muses' songs are gospel based so having a gospel singer in the lineup makes sense. Keke Palmer can act and sing plus she sang Zero to Hero during the pandemic and killed it and has worked with Disney before. Amber Riley played Effie in Dreamgirls so obviously she can sing and act as well. Honorable Mentions - Cynthia Erivo, Anika Noni Rose, Danielle Brooks, Coco Jones, and Kelly Rowland.

From what I just read Disney went woke again and picked a black Hercules. We all know that traditionally Hercules is black. Lol! Another Disney movie I'll pass on.
