I think it’s very important to listen to the people of Texas but there are times when even a majority of people can be wrong about something (e.g., Nazi Germany, Salem witch trials, the Jim Crow South). If you are that far along and you opt for an abortion, it's likely due to an emergency issue and a real doctor wouldn't do it unless it was an emergency. a woman at 8 months doesn't wake up and change her mind.. she's IN. it would be very very rare...

I understand we shouldn't just toss children to the side because their parents use their privates more than their brains, but I have one special needs child and we have to live extremely below the poverty line and the government is okay with knowing that we struggle financially on a daily basis and mentally, emotionally struggling more than the average family. It would actually financially help me with the current system if I continued to pop out babies. I would get to live in a bigger government apartment for less money, I would qualify for foodstamps if I had more children, if any of them were disabled like the child I already have it would just be an increase in the social security check I have to live off of, maybe it would actually be enough to pay the bills. In all states where late term abortions are illegal (a majority of states), there are exceptions for medical reasons at the least and life of the mother at most. Late term abortions for convenience, as sick as they are, do happen. Women sometimes DO change their mind "overnight" because most women are incredibly fragile and uncertain during pregnancy, especially if they're unmarried or teen to-be mothers. Every pro-lifer I've ever met is OK with having exceptions for serious medical complications in late term bans. In tier 2, if the golden Pennie’s and copper Pennie’s do not produce the required revenue per student, the additional state revenues are earned. There is no recapture of the tax collections generated by the golden penny portion of the tax rate; however, the copper penny revenue is subject to recapture. I'd rather deal with incompetent Abbott, than a radical like Beto. Beto is exactly what you would think he is, a basic Democrat progressive, and would push the same radical legislation. If Texans want trans kids, no guns, and crt pushed in schools, you know who to vote for. Democrats are just not centered around American values, they say they care, but all they want to do is buy your vote with little pats on the back, and pretty words. They want to reshap America into their delusional socialist utopia, but all its going to do is lead to our collapse. Who knows, maybe that's their goal.
