Got mine done finally, everything went well so far, got the van lifted which gives me 3 feet 1 inch clearance underneath, I do not get the whole clearance of 47 inches as advertised because the Chrysler Town and Country van is taller than normal cars but I am happy with the reach underneath way better than working on jack stands; I also had the Ergo Chair Creeper which fits perfectly under the van on its first stop which is at 21 inches off the floor so I can sit-lay on it easy in and out, heck I could even take a nap on it. It is definitely a game changer for garage work to do your own things; to me since I have this van and another light truck to do full engine work this was a must.

I'm installing mine now, the holes should be brushed out and then stick an air nozzle in to blow the dust out.
Removing the dust is important to keep the anchors from spinning.
If anchors fail and you change to epoxy, stick a chunk of rolled up bread in the hole and push it dow to the desired depth, this prevents all the epoxy from draining into the soil/sand. Another option is drive a 7/8 wood dowel in to the proper depth.

Interesting trick. Yea i tried to blow them out and clean out the holes but could'nt get the wedge anchors to stick.

Just a warning for your safety. The load on the side of the plate with the bolts is upwards when there is a car on the hoist. The hoist is pulling up on the bolts as both sides are trying to collapse towards the vehicle. The plate is trying to rip them up and out of the concrete. So your not actually spreading any any load with those washers. Second and more important, do you have proper footings or is that a typical 4" slab?

I have a 4.5-5in slab with small rebar in it from the builder. i drilled test holes and measured. The washers do help to spread load more evenly if the surface isn't completely level on the inside edge of concrete when you have the tipping force of the column trying to collapse in on themselves.

Does the kit come with instructions on distance between both posts?

Yes it does. If you go to their website they tell you the range of distance in width it will work in. I went for the high end of the range and it worked out great.

Got a question why would you put the post against the wall would be tight to get line in and working on front and rear wheels like doing brakes would be tough and frustrating

Have to still use the other side of the garage and maximize the space I have. It is tight but not terrible. I can still do most everything on that side.
