    Like the sound of own body shop & mechanic-lots of stock out there seems to need paint, if you could do that yourself seems like a bonus over time for you 👍

    Best of luck. 2 parts of advise . Get security cameras set up ideal for Lewis Hamilton delivery drivers. Also as hard as it might be being Mr nice guy is not always the best policy as people will try to take advantage

    Speak to Dave the lovely car company, has recently set up at unit with an in house mechanic, there is also a podcast / YT video where him, Joe and Lee (Car UK) talk about the equipment he should get (nov 24 i think it was). I do social media / YT stuff for them and as far as i know its one of the best things he's done, his words.
    In the mean time you could kit it out and get mobile mechanics in to use the area for your cars until your ready to employ them.
    great content btw, also I love the welsh accent with words like Fumming hehe.
    Lastly what they done to that audi is out of order.
    any way keep smiling and good luck with your new start up

      This is exactly how I'm setup, unit with ramp etc & have a mobile mechanic come out to me.
      Works well, means I'm not ferrying cars around too much, and mechanic is happy as he has a decent space to work in.

    I'd be fuming, tamping, raging if the delivery company had done that to a vehicle of mine so you're well within you're rights to complain about it...tbh you've been very gracious in accepting just a refund on the delivery charge for the damage the chuckle brothers caused!!!...🤡🤡
    I'd avoid that delivery company now like the plague going forward as once bitten twice shy tbh...Great update video and a nice collection of vehicles u now have so looking forward to seeing them when they are all prepped and best of luck on the sales front my Welsh friend...💪🏼🚘🚙🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿😍

      Don't blame u for cussing on a MASSIVE scale when u saw the Audi with the bumper and bonnet in the state they were in...What an absolute bunch of clowns 🤡🤡 those 2 idiots are and what a poor company they are for not doing more to sort out their staffs mistake!!!...

    Leave the workshop and body shop to further down the line. Too many overheads too soon is a killer. Get yourself upto 4-5 sales a month first. Find a local valeter that can do a car for £45. That will free your time up to concentrate on turning the cars over. Don’t employ anyone, too expensive. You can manage 10-15 cars without any staff if you are outsourcing your valeting. Do you own your own house? If so consider BCA partner finance. If you can do disks and pads, wheel bearings etc yourself then great. Find someone local who is happy to weld up new flexi pipes etc, much cheaper than replacing. Meet manager at your local Kwik fit, they should do you a good deal on MOT’s if you have volume. Kwik fit for exhausts too. I do all of above and that’s what works for me.

    • @BargainBangers
      @BargainBangers  4 дня назад

      Yes own my house, so I'll have to consider the BCA Partner Finance, not something ive looked into. With the Valeter totally agree, and thats been sorted already. Bodyshop is my main source of income, so that can't stop, as im still running it but trying to get the structure in place, with it. At the momen, I'll just be doing everything my side, keeping costs as low as possible

  • @vince477
    @vince477 6 дней назад +1

    Why don’t you want anything that needs paint when you have a body shop? Surely this is an advantage?

    • @BargainBangers
      @BargainBangers  6 дней назад

      Purely because of how busy the body shop is, yes it’s an advantage but bodyshop is running with a 8 week waiting time, and don’t have time to finish customers cars. So hard to find the time, to put them in that’s all

    WTF is wrong with people. I get it, if it was 1 guy on his own, but to have a spotter and still end up like that 😱. Hopefully there's enough margin in it to lessen the pain.
