- In this tutorial I will show you how to make this cute, beaded ball ornament with a "Flower Basket" pattern. This would the cutest gift paired with a specialized tag to commemorate a special little someone in your life.
Materials:
7 1/2 feet waxed beading thread (2.286 meter)
Size 10 needle
11/0 seed beads (4 different colors)
1.75 inch (4.445 cm) glass satin finish ball ornament
Good job! The ornament is beautiful. And I really appreciated how you jumped right in without a bunch of unnecessary chatter. Your instructions are very easy to follow and I am going to make this soon.
Thank you. Send me a picture, I would like to see how yours turns out.

I'm looking through my stash as I watch this to see if I have a good combination of beads to make for my tree this year.Thanks. I hope you make more ornaments so that you get better at making videos and we as viewers get more ideas for ornaments.
I greatly appreciate the feedback! I have one new design and a complimentary design for the ball ornaments coming up in the next couple of days.
Thank you, I really appreciate the comments. I do have new ideas for ornaments this year and hope to have more videos out soon.

Looks really pretty 🤩
Thank you! 😊
I just started making ornaments. I am having a issue with seeing the thread in the bottom half of the bulb. Not sure how to fix this.. I’m wondering if I am pulling to tight or not tight enough
Can you give me more clarification as to the nature of not being able to see the thread? Typically, you should not be able to see the thread when the beading is done. I will try and help out the best I can.
@@catstrunk3156that’s @janlaing6739’s point - she CAN see the thread and doesn’t know why, or how to make sure it is not visible.
I am very behind on responses, I am very sorry, life has been getting in the way. Are you making sure you are easing out the slack as each level is completed? Also, it is very important to add the half hitch knot each time you complete a row. Missing the knot after completing a row will allow the thread to slip and crate gaps. Can you send me a picture so i can see the problem?
