People in general are so ignorant and just because the material looks good they don’t care. But for me, as my good health is my most precious asset, I’m looking for non-toxic flooring. Thank you.
Thanks for this!! I was about to pull the trigger on 2800 sq ft of LVP and now I'm going to get engineered instead. There's always a hidden cost to everything. In this case it's our health. Even Cali and Shaw still use replacement chemicals that are just as bad. I dig some digging after seeing this. They're really no better, all LVP is toxic and the sales people know this. This is going to be the next Teflon epidemic.

Engineered flooring glue has VOC
@@KingoftheJiangl Taylor Ironwood makes a no VOC glue for hardwood.
@@Lanovasworld the engineered floors have plywood or compressed wood that uses chemicals to bond together. The best thing is solid wood floors.
My daughter's room had old carpet, and she was always sick. My other kids' rooms had no carpet, just solid hardwood, and they never got sick.
