I was here years ago when it first opened. While it is all exact and perfect the ships corridor... the "hallway" struck me the hardest. It was SO exact, and so many scenes in the show take place there (talk and walk) that to stand there really felt like you were on the damn thing. The stuff even works... they let my wife throw the red alert switch in the hall... and sure enough it went off. Even if you just watched the show now and then, it's worth seeing this place as it is done so well. In fact some of the props are originals, including things in Kirks quarters. They even have an original tribble.
Mr. Cawley was also one of the pioneers who raised fan films to a much higher standard before lesser individuals brought stricter limitations from its corporate owners.
This is really cool, but the biggest magic here is giving the impression that William Shattner is a nice guy, caring for fans. That is really impressive work XD
So why do you care, They actually have shows on you tube that have stared a lot of the original people and actors who just want to be a part of it I suggest you watch it

This man has the admiration of millions of trek fans. He is most awesome!!
James is awesome. He also played Capt. Kirk in Star Trek phase 2.
Went last year and was totally blown away by the experience. My kids and I can't wait to go back again this year.
Huge Trek fan, and appreciate his hard work....but 3 hundred thousand ?!!! oh no....I can buy a house with that.
I have to see this some day!! It looks amazing!

Yep! It is! It's fabulous!! ... Was just there and words are not enough.
And even met Captain James T. Kirk himself🥹
Absolutely dazzling. Thank you so much.
Nice to see younger fans there, that the original series stands the test of time. Of all the Star Trek bridge designs, the original is still the best.
What's Denny Crane doing sitting in Capt. Kirk's Chair?
His mad cow's made him a bit more delusional and he now thinks he is Kirk.
Elvis and William did have that same look , they even stand alike
Uh, huh, huh. A whole lotta Trekkin' goin' on!
0:40 I know that guy! SGHS '85

Hard to take an Elvis impersonator seriously, but the Star Trek set recreation is pretty amazing.

People with to much time on their hands.....lol
True. But I'll take this over terrorism any day.
@@Nedula007 People with to much time on their hands Allow Terrorism to exist
@@mgtowrules1649 right.....because the star trek people in this video are.......terrorists....
But you have time to watch him do it... and make a snarky comment too. If you like glib one liners then, at least he has a life.... lol
