You can tell this thing isn't doing so hot because of how many totally unused CCs are on the secondary market. It seems like a ton of guys impulse buy the CC thinking they're getting a good deal on the regular RMR, then realize it doesn't fit any pistol anybody would ever own for any reason. Trijicon was getting desperate with rebates on the CC for a while too.

Calling this the RMRcc was big brain energy by trijicon. Nobody would totally not mistake this for having the same footprint as other pistol mounted optics by trijicon when both the RMR and SRO shared it. Nobody would totally assume the similiarly named RMRcc would be like that when different optics shared it. *facepalm*.
I own a RMRCC that I put on my 2011, and I only didn't make this mistake since 1. I was having my pistol milled for the optic of my choosing, and 2. like humble I have an astigmatism so red dot's require both autist levels of research and then even checking out of the exact one I'm buying in person.

I love the RMR for one reason. It’s god damn reliable! Yes the Holosun has the bells and whistles but I put my life behind my RMR and RMR CC. Never seen or known of somebody having issues with an RMR CC, but I’ve definitely seen a few issues with the EPS.

I agree with you. They are overpriced given how simple of a device they are. Personally I like auto adjust as I go from bright outside to indoor frequently. Because I also have eye issues (which at almost 70 is understandable) I like the red dot platform and use it on my main carry piece. Frankly my inexpensive (compared to the one you featured here) CT sight is doing fine in it's 3rd year.

Carried this on my Glock 43x for a few months, I have been impressed with how rock solid it has been, have dropped it, put hundreds of rounds through it and zero has not budged at all. Glass is better than full sized RMR in my opinion. Footprint is a little stupid and the mount adapter plate is super thick, had to get 9xl height supressor sights to cowitness.

I ordered the week before he dropped his video on it and the wait times increased drastically. I'll be doing quite a few videos on it when it's here though. I've got a few questions written down from the reddit forum and if no one else tries to answer them, I'm going to cover as much detail as I can and take more questions. I would have still happily paid the overpriced premium for Trijicon reliability on my G48 MOS carry gun. Of course, you can’t mount it to a MOS cut without buying an expensive adapter plate that makes it sit ridiculously high, or sending out your already milled slide to be cut even further and then pay to have it refinished. Trijicon is unequivocally the gold standard of pistol optics but the CC is kind of an unbelievable blunder.

I'm sure it's a solid enough product, but Trijicon's footprints are d*ck moves.
