I was there at this concert (Malaysia). It was exactly 12am when Thendral Vanthu song was performed. There was a pin drop silence during the whole performance and I heard some sobbings around me. I cried too. That's the power of his music.
Great Human Being. Amazing Singer who was so versatile...could sing slow melodious song or a peppy fast number with ease, one and only SPB Sir. His voice was still sounding like a youngster's... he could have easily been singing for another decade but God had other ideas. He was not only a Singer, Actor, Dubbing Artist, and Music Director ....he knew so much about film music history of the last five decades which he used to share with his audience. May his Soul attain sadgati. He should be honoured with Bharat Ratna.

Carnatic music has a soothing feel and the ragas drive me crazy . I try singing few songs in tamil and succeed at times, my tamil friends say i pronounce words correctly... To all my tamil brothers and sisters... U have a great sense of music.. and the land of tamil nadu has given us great composers... God bless All..
