I think that's not the card one, you could see by the rear brake rotor is on the right side, which means this is MC21 NSR250 that using regular shutter key
The one with the keycard as the key is the MC28, the one in the video is a MC21. To know the difference easily is simply if the bike has a single sided swingarm (or as honda calls it pro arm) that's a MC28, the MC28 also has different touches on its fairings like for example the front upper cowl has two side vents, the rear body tail is more smoother than the MC21
Nope thats a mc-21 hes riding. Mc-28 had the credit card ignition and ss swingarm. I had a 92 SE back in 96. Greatest bike i ever owned. Mc-21 had more power unrestricted with the m max box and was lighter.
I miss my mc16. Parts were getting hard to come by so I had to sell mine but I loved riding that bike. It was light, nimble but quite powerful for a small bike.
Honda certainly made a beautiful looking machine sounds amazing but for some odd reason they were never as popular as the RD's or RG's which I thought strange as the Honda outclassed both in many ways. 👍💯👌
In my opinion honda was as popular as the RGVs and RDs but only on the japanese domestic market due to it was produced for only Japanese market. But some pieces were exported outside of Japan as well. The Honda produced around 40K NSR from 1986-1996, many of them were only racebike.
@@APX177 I think the price held them back somewhat, but then again the Japanese be it motorcycles or cars always seem to keep the hot stuff to themselves. The RG was a very nice looking bike and very handy on the racetrack.
That is one cherry ass bike, as a kid in the early 1980s I was exposed to these type of bikes which at the same time my Older homeboys had Yamaha RDs looking and sounding cherry on the streets of East Los Angeles , man I how I wish 2stoke motorcycles were still being built 😢 But it’s still good to daydream about it once every day 😂😂😂 all riders be safe ✌️😎👌
Really great bike. I used to ride an NC29.. the 400RR.. monster of a machine. But really hard to find spares at this age and time... had to let her go.. still amazing memories.

I'd hold my RD against any NSR any day, but I guess I'm biased.
