NBC's department of Standards and Practices sure didn't make it easy on #hlots writers back in the '90s, who were tasked with scripting a gritty police procedural but couldn't really curse. They did take full advantage, though, of every opportunity to use "sob" as demonstrated in this compilation featuring Yaphet Kotto, Reed Diamond, and Andre Braugher.
