Was there any bolt clearance initially? I am interested in convergence when plate will slide and the bolt hole will connect with the initially non-contacted region of the bolt. Any tips to take care of the clearance in that case?

why you didn't add shear damage ?
Can we model the hysteresis behaviour of the bolt under shear loading that is dominated by stiffness degradation and pinching effect using Ansys?
