I watched Teletoon from 2003 to 2012. I can see it was amazing in the early years. I didn’t catch up the storylines at well at first because my English was poor due to recent immigration to Canada from Korea at that time in 2003. But it was totally worth watching and enjoyable. I’ll never forget you Teletoon! You made my childhood very memorable!
While I was more of a YTV kid growing up, there were still plenty of Teletoon shows that I grew up watching and enjoying. A part of me is definitely going to miss Teletoon.
I may not have lived in Canada at all, but among several of these Teletoon productions like Braceface, Totally Spies, Undergrads, and Clone High. These were interesting ones I caught.
This video and its sequel made me realize that Teletoon played a bigger role in my life than I thought it did. I thought that YTV was my main channel this whole time, but I guess it's my... Second? Third? Family was a pretty choice channel, too.
Teletoon was great in its early years. They had so much original content but also brought over a ton of shows from American networks. I remember back when they used to have The Simpsons, Spawn and Macross Plus. They were my first real exposure to adult animation.
The cartoons from Canada are a lot better than the cartoons we have here in the US. Even the ones not from Teletoons from other cartoons productions were good.
Ronald Lee Williams THAT IS A LIE! Canada is AWFUL at making cartoons! They are either stupid like Johnny test, ugly like Angela Anaconda or both like Donkey Kong Country
Look up "Monster by Mistake" it came out 2006, im sure it will make you change your mind, also alot of the toons in this video, Like Brace face, are just American cartoons redubbed for canada.
Anyone else remember every show even if you didn’t watch/enjoy them all ? (Edit: I was ages 3-9 between 1997-2004 so i watched a lot of telethon growing up in Canada lol)
There were many series which I saw and thought were from the United States of America, just because I saw them in cartoon networks, obviously I saw them in Spanish since it is my native language, I loved many of those series, especially TDI ( disla del drama) In Spanish !
pretty crazy seeing these again… idk if anyone remember but there was this one cartoon show and there were 3 sisters and a witch… i remember the outright going like “i rather be a girl than anything else in the world”… i could be mistaken, but let me know… late 90s early 2000’s
0:09 The very first TV show, that bursted, and engaged people's brains! You know who he is... That Caillou. Now he wears a yellow shirt and looks less sus!
Got No Idea What You Were Missing. I Really Suggest Checking Out Any That Interested You (If You Can Find Them,That Is) And I REALLY Suggest Checking Out Cybersix Because It Was AMAZING.
Man, we REALLY covered a wide spread. Masterpieces like Undergrads and Cybersix, eternally hilarious series like DKC and Ned's Newt, and...garbage like Angela Anaconda and John Callahan's Quads. Incidentally, could you not have cut the theme songs between lines?
yeah the only things I remember from the year two lineup were Wacky Races, A Pup named scooby doo (which was dropped by March and they brought back Scooby Doo Where Are you) there was Voltron the 3rd dimension, Bad Dog, Nanook's Great Hunt, Kampung Boy, Josie and the Pussycats, Space Ghost Coast to Coast also it was there that they started airing movies on the first Saturday of every month. Also there were new episodes of Pippi Longstocking,
The show is from Europe (France) and Teletoon dubbed it in English. So I suppose it wasn't really a Teletoon original but they played a big role in bringing the show to America.
I want a time machine, so I can go back to re-experience all of this awesomeness! God I miss my childhood
me too!
Most of the shows and episodes are on RUclips, you know!
Im with you

Captain Star is criminally unappreciated. It had a delightfully unique sense of humour and some really fun stories.
I'm 19 and I feel sooo fucking old... Oh man Ripping Friends, Undergrads, and Doodlez were my favs
I used to watch these shows when I was one year's old to 2004 like I was burn in the 2000's but now I still watch those :D

+Anime School girl Johnny Test came from the USA actually.
Treetops97 no it just takes place in the us . Either that or it was partly American and partly canadian

lots of these shows have great theme songs. Such as that shredding guitar opening in Roboroach
I’m from America and know a few of these shows- we really missed out.

I paused the video to go watch the full Redwall theme because that is peak performance
