Honestly I can relate so much to some of this. I was so scared to lose friends and be alone, but now I’m older I’ve realised they really aren’t worth it! I literally have 1 friend I can rely on completely, quality over quantity always! I always feel like I need to save people and make them happy, but maybe we just need to save ourselves! I've just found your channel and watched the first part. I'm thinking how sad it is that things never seem to change. I'm now 52 y/o, a mum to two grown sons and a Nanna to three grandchildren but I went through this same kind of thing. The same "always being there for them", even when they don't return the favour. I've given up on close friendships. I have a fiance and he is a complete darling. He's been walked on too. I have my family but we are not in each others pockets. I'm here when they need me. I finally confronted her and she turned it around on me, I didn’t just loose her but her bf is my best friends brother and we were super close but he took her side. I have no idea how I even had them in my life for so long the amount of hurt they brung to me! My parents always use to tell me to stay away from them lol.
