I can’t imagine waking up one morning and finding your friends/housemates dead. I hope the survivors are doing alright and the families get the truth they deserve. I also hope the campus community is doing alright, and that there is counseling for those who need it.

1. they are apart of it and had someone come in to kill them
2. They had no idea, may have been passed our asleep or had earbuds in their ears. Come downstairs in the morning and was mortified
3. did it themselves
4. jealous ex or some acquietnece of one of the girls.
5. multiple killers, if they were all awake and in the same room no way one person can kill 4 people with a knife easily.

Tragic. Traumatizing. I pray for the family, friends and entire community. I hope they find the killer. I am curious to know why the survivors didn't call the police. Where were they? I am sure the FBI and investigators have information they are not yet sharing with the media. RIP to the 4 victims.

Apparently a killer using a knife usually ends up cutting themself at some point becasue the blood is slippery and the knife slips. So DNA may yet solve this case. But what remains puzzling is how someone could overcome 4 healthy young people, including a guy who looked strong and buff. Something is very fishy about this case. How absolutely horrifying for the families. Many many condolences.

Not so hard to overpower if they are intoxicated and/or asleep. I think two of them walked in on it and that's how it happened possibly. The 2 girls and the couple spent the evening at different places. Just doesn't make sense otherwise how 2 were left untouched either. I think they came home after the fact probably intoxicated as well and just went straight to bed and didn't wake up until someone came and discovered the others. Just my opinion of what could have happened.

Delores, you think like a police investigator. You are right. Knife assaults often result in the perpetrator being injured by his own weapon. That is a fact that is well known to crime investigators.

It was most likely an ex-boyfriend, or another male acquaintance of one of the three girls that was rejected. The psychologist is correct. Stabbing is a very personal crime. I believe only one of the victims was the intended target and the other three were killed because they tried to intervene or simply because they were encountered during the crime.

It's Delphi Indiana over again. No one saw any "suspicious" person, and the sketches of people they did see will depict an embellished version of the killer, as a young looking, very innocent faced "normal" guy who anybody would have to be crazy to suspect of such a heinous crime. But then when DNA matches him, we will see the crazy eyes, and hear about all of his surly actions that no one thought anything of. Crazily, no one will see the pattern of this dynamic happening all across the country.

Something is not adding up. The 2 surviving roommates didn’t call 911. And there not in town anymore. And they weren’t injured in the killing spree. This seems like a no brainer to me.

I liked someone's idea to check cell tower pings. Guarantee the killer had a cell phone on them. Check all phones that pinged from the area.

That’s probably one of the first things they did. But since the house is known to be a place where parties are thrown in a college area im sure a TON of cell phones were in the area.

How sad, my condolences to the families. It sounds like it was a personal attack since they were stabbed multiple times. I watched the those true crime stories on the ID channel to know that multiple stabbings like that is usually personal and probably took out the victims one at a time or isolated them in order to do it.
I agree! I watch the same true crime shows to think the same as you. My theory is one or 2 of the girls had a stalker. If it's a targeted attack, sounds like a domestic abuse situation. Like a jilted lover type of situation where some guy got so angry at being rejected and decided to hurt/kill the girl then went on a rampage and killed her friends too. Damn. It's like straight out of a horror movie!
it would have to be some completely enraged, hate-obsessed person who knew them and killed all 4 very quickly, which looks downright amazing luck, or it is a very experienced serial killer. All of which makes this case terrifying.

This case is extremely chilling. Even if they were asleep, if we assume there was one murderer, he must have started with one person, right? Suppose the person was in a deep sleep and the perpetrator hit him/her so 'perfectly' that he killed or severely injured this person immediately so that person was unable to shout and react. But that exactly the same thing could happen 3 more times? Very unlikely.
And if even one person woke up and saw what was happening, even with a hangover - such a thing will make you come to your senses very quickly. In short, one of these 4 people would probably wake up, shout and fight, which would then wake up at least one more person. I am not saying that the theory about 1 murderer is impossible, but it is actually of the 'miracle' category, in a sense, if it was like that, this psycho was very lucky to have stabbed each victim perfectly and incapacitated each victim in a few seconds. It's still very strange and hard to believe.
He could’ve covered their mouths while he stabbed them. The last one could have been loud as long he didn’t think neighbors would hear.
Some of the victims had defense wounds so some of them were aware of being attacked.
What I do think is weird is that the surviving roommates, after finding one of the victims dead on the second floor, FIRST called friends to come over to the house. Wouldn't you call 911 first the moment you see someone dead on the floor?

Calling the other two roommates survivors is very misleading. It makes it sound like they were attacked and survived an attack. Most likely the murderer either didn't know they were there or chose not to even go near them. Of course, they can still be traumatized over what happened underneath them while they were in their own rooms. Not calling them survivors doesn't take away from that.

I still can't understand how one person could stab to death 4 people, one by one. A man like that has to be some really disturbing person, a psycho. Even if the victims were intoxicated, it's still hard to believe. Stabbings are messy and loud, and although it's an awful thing to say, the fact is, it's hard work. To stab someone to death, let alone 4 people who will always defend themselves, is very very hard even if we assume it was some giant, muscular dude. This whole case is very scary.
There is something that is missing.
How were two people home the entire time? Was everyone sleeping? Is that why the other two didn’t call 911? Because they slept through the murders? And who did call 911? This is all so strange and so devastating.
They lived in a party house and they’re college kids. I’m pretty sure they were either drunk/hungover and were passed out.

Someone said on another news report the two survivors lived in a basement apartment with it’s own door. If that’s the case they’d have their own bathroom and kitchen plus unlikely to hear upstairs especially second and third stories. Also was said these two went to a separate party. It’s not strange if they came in late and slept till noon or later. Police chief said they did not call them witnesses.

This crime is similar to the Gainesville Ripper, Danny Rollings; it could just as easily be some nut with no connection to any of the victims.
Community don’t have anything to be worried about it this is an isolated attack. You can tell. I believe it’s someone that they all knew and or known they were also close to them. I also think the attack was only meant for one and or two of the members but felt since they were altogether a lot other victims were innocent. They were also followed. 🤷♀️

Ask yourself, how could one person overpower four individuals with one of them being male? I am considering that they were either all asleep or drugged or drunk because, if everyone was awake and alert, and not inebriated, they could easily overpower one knife wielding person. I think he caught them off guard. Either that, or there was more than one person doing the killing.
Who knows what happened. He could have attacked them when they were sleeping or he could have just been a big crazy dude that knew how to use a knife.

The culprit could have been on meth or another drug that causes superhuman strength, in my city a guy with a psychotic break due to severe schizophrenia killed 4 adult guys and 1 adult woman in a house with a knife also.

@@moali68 No, I think the authorities are holding back a lot of information while they investigate further leads. The FBI is very protective of their case information and sources, and have probably told the town cops to keep quiet.

The two roommates that survived sound like a couple of airheads.
I hope the police take their time and make sure they have enough evidence to arrest whoever it is and put them away for good or the death penalty
This is frustrating as hell I can’t even imagine for the families. The fact that there is a cold-blooded murderer on the loose is sickening. The police are keeping quiet and they appear to know a lot more than they are letting out which is a good thing. The person/person’s responsible for this will get caught it’s just a matter of time. Stabbing someone cant be that easy looking at prison stabbing videos shows you have violent movement and screams, so no one heard the first, second or third person screaming they were all taped up and tied up they had to be or drugged. they are not saying what the details are trying to catch the killers.

It’s possible they had music playing and didn’t hear. Or, they were drunk and passed out. OR, they’re murderous psychos who bled their roommates dry with a Bowie knife. Lots of possibilities.
I heard the call to police was made around noon. As a collage-aged person, its very believable that they didn't wake up until then.
The survivors were not the ones to make the call. The caller has been kept anonymous so far.
Also before they called the police several hours later they invited 2 of their friends over to look at the crime scene which makes it wayyyyy harder for crime investigators

Police failed this community saying there was no imminent threat.
Weirdest story in a while. 4 all stabbed to death by one person? But not one of them managed to run away. 2 other people in the house that didn’t hear anything? 911 call made by someone else nearly 12 hours later. All bizarre.
Moscow Idaho has always needed to up their police and investigation force. I hope this does it for them so Justice can be brought to the families

Watch the Video in slow motion he walks up same time as the girls right next to him they are not paying attention. He stands back watching them turns his hat around. Keeps watching them. I think he is after the one in the gray hoodie because when they leave the girl in the darker clothes walks off first but he is still standing there. It is not til the girl in the gray hoodie starts to leave he follows them. I really have no doubt he is the killer and him alone. He is by himself and totally watching them the whole time. He walks up by them and leaves when they do.
This is an absolutely heart breaking tragedy. Any loss of life is of course but these poor kids. Condolences to their families and friends ❤

I'm sure the FBI and Law Enforcement officials are doing everything they can. There is so much to think about regarding this awful situation. I'm wondering who did this and why. Is the perpetrator also a university student that knew them? I wonder what the 2 surviving roommates said to the authorities? Are they witnesses or are they not disclosing things out of fear of losing their own lives, or are they involved in a more hands-on way, so to speak? After a week and NO suspect?

This case is very strange.. number 1, how could one person overpower 4 ppl one being a man and stabbing them multiple times w a knife?? 2, how did not one person not hear or see anything when those houses are so damn close together like that?? Very weird..

Some people look around when they are hanging out. That's not common for people to be standing on sidewalk and looking. So it could just be anybody

The police already had this video and spoke to the guy. If youre showing sympathy to the roommates in the house then show the same to the dude who already spoke to police until we have reason to assume otherwise. He could just be an innocent kid and the internet is labeling him a creep killer.

Really bothered they didn’t mention that dood that walked up with them with the white hat and hood over it as he literally followed them and stood behind them waiting while they got their food, pointed at them while talking to the other gentleman then was not paying attention the guy signaled that the girls took off and he ran off after them! It reminds me of the Gainesville Ripper, he killed 6 college students at once with a knife too, he did it more than once. He killed multiple college students at once in Louisiana too.
