I'm so excited for the full release of the game, not necessarily to play it, but to watch people play it. Tekken is such a fun and satisfying game to watch, and while I do enjoy playing it, I struggle to figure out how to get as good as I can in platform fighters and traditional 2D fighters
I trained in playing tekken in tekken 6 in ppsspp so I didn't have much problem in tekken 7 I was just afapting to rage arts and drives but besides that I didin't have much problem cuz of 6 years of training only learning 2-3 characters hworang leo and steve😊
@disobey8828 It's not cause I'm too broke to buy it. I just don't think it's a smart use of $70 on a game that I know my friends will never play, meaning I won't play it. I had Tekken 7 and while it was fun, I just couldn't get as good as I wanted, and not having my friends motivate me to get better, I just traded it in. Just cause you have the money for something doesn't mean you should spend it.

@@stefmanskanerows There are 3 basic throw animations for 99% of throws. One where the left hand reaches further. Another where the right hand goes first. And one where both hands reach out at the same time and distance. You break the throw by pressing the button that corresponds with the hand(s) reaching out. Left hand=left punch= Square/X; This is called a 1 break Right hand=right punch=Triangle/Y; This is a 2 break Both hands =Sq.+Tri./X+Y; 1+2 break. Takes a lot of practice to do it correctly on reaction. For the time being just spam 1 or 1+2 whenever you're grabbed.

I love how these two's "rivalry" mostly exists in Hwoarang's head and Jin just kind of goes with it to not make Hwoarang feel bad even though Jin's got way more important things to worry about.
I’ve never found the Tekken roster to be all that appealing, but god damn the gameplay is so good that I’ll buy it regardless. And you know they always go above and beyond on the bells and whistles. Great franchise.
The way I learn how to use Tekken characters is fight against the immortal CPU in the training mode. I see myself as having mastered the character when dunking on the CPU becomes as natural as breathing. Ironically, efficiency is the weakness of the CPU… It works so well that it falls for simple tricks like counter hitting the moment they attack.
Just a tip, Hwoarang main from T7. The down4,4 (O on PlayStation, B on Xbox) low only works on counterhit. Use down back 3 instead, so you don’t have to uninstall down4,4 from your brain when you get better.
Good pointer! You could also do down back 3 and then hit 3 again if you see an opening. He'll do a stand up over head kick. Or hit 4,4 after down back 3 to do an axe kick. You get the low high mixup but no launch. He'll stand up in a new stance tho. That's a safe way to open up more options.
In 2023 (in december) I bought tekken 7 and now I'll get also tekken 8. I'll buy a controller cuz I tried tekken 7 with the keyboard and for me it seems hard.
This was recorded in the Closed Beta Test and there were 19 playable characters including Hwoarang. However in the demo there are only 4 playable characters.
By VA you mean voice announcer? I don't know if they adapt the VA according to the character's nationality. But the voice sounds the same to me actually when you lose or win :p
