I always thought it was a little weird/odd that Hwoarang does that little arm pump charge thing before doing the kick; but I’ve since come to realize it’s how the kick has so much damage - it’s a feint to get your opponent to guard up front and not the sides
I thought it was for the momentum of the spin
It's a stance for a deadly attack, like Akuma does the Metsu pose after he throws the red fireball that does more hits.
Its just part of taekwondo. Nothing more. If you studied and watched enough of it you would see what im talking about
